  1. I don't know what else to say really. I agree he should go. The reason, he's not cutting it. Don't care what he says. If he was winning every game I don't think you would either. But he's not winning, everyone is angry, people are insulting him. I don't think that's fair. That was and is my point.
  2. Is that really what you got from the post.
  3. Sorry guys I'm not with you on this. I read the PNE v Rovers thread on the Preston supporters site after we killed them at Deepdale. I was so grateful we didn't have fans like that. Foul-mouthed morons calling for the managers head. The hate was palpable and horrible and I remember thinking how proud I was of our supporters in contrast to theirs. This TM out stuff is getting wilder and wilder and before long we'll be approaching their level of vitriol. TM has to go for football reasons. He probably needs to take half the team with him. He's out of ideas and we need a change. His backroom staff need clearing out as well (with certain exceptions like Damien). We all share the same views on the board and Venkys but that's where it should stop. They are not evil villains, they're not corrupt, TM is not some moral defective, his character should not be ridiculed and his wife should not be mocked with references to drizzle cake (whatever that is). TM, in my opinion, saved this club and gave us back some self respect, please don't flush this self respect down the pan with wild conspiracy theories and aspersions on people character and motivations. We are Rovers not Preston/Burnley. That's not who we are, we are better than that. TM out yes. Lynch mob no thank you. If you get mad reading this then I suggest you have a good look at yourself.
  4. I'm actually coming around to the Dave Carroll comment, I thought the problem was 100% the manager and coaching staff. I thought we had a pretty good squad just badly managed. But now I'm of the opinion that we have a crap manager, a crap coaching staff, a crap board AND a crap squad. The players all flatter to deceive. If they're good they're not consistent. How many games have we seen this season when everyone's been at for 90 minutes. JUST changing TM et al will be like firing your decorator because you're fed up with him painting every room black and white then hiring a new guy to discover you've only got black and white paint. We need, IMO, to get a new management team and give them a budget. If we don't get new players I don't think we'll see much change. Venky's, take your courage in both hands and make the change and also open your cheque book or you'll achieve nowt.
  5. Desperate times desperate measures.
  6. Can we get the momentum going now please for Sherwood, who's up for it?
  7. Scored from a corner, wtf, whats going on?
  8. Haven't seen Dolan dump a left back on his arse since the first few early days here, TM's training must be paying dividends.
  9. Seriously guys we need to start looking over our shoulders at relegation. We're on a serious slide.
  10. Called the goal when they got possession in our half. Defensive shape none existent.
  11. Harvey scored but that goal was all Rothwell. Fair dos.
  12. School yard stuff in defence. Unbelievable. Oh wait a minute, no.
  13. Tim Sherwood for manager please.
  14. Can we please complete a pass, just one, please.
  15. Agree and I 'liked' your post. I'd just say that teams have 5 centre backs precisely to cover the injury prone and the dead and dying. Two positions 5 coverage, as a manager, any manager you'd assume that was enough surely. We just can't seem to catch a break in that department. TM has loaned 2 prospects with good reputations, granted they're babies but not sure what else we could reasonably have expected him to do. Times up for TM for me, hail fellow well met, but time to move on. I still maintain though he's had a dog's luck with injuries this season.
  16. I haven't changed my mind, we should shake TM's hand, wish him well and send him on his way. Time for a change, absolutely. But the guy can't buy a break can he. We have 5 centre backs on our books Ayala, Williams, Wharton, Lenihan and Nyambe, if you consider him the cover for centre back All of whom are crocked. Thank goodness he brought in loan cover, realistically though they should never have expected game time outside of league cup matches and the like, yet here we are, here he is, two babies at centre back. TM has built a good squad I think we all agree on that but this injury situation and the others in midfield beggars belief. He's done and continues to do much wrong and sometimes things that are plain incomprehensible but he's really had a dog's luck. Other managers will do better with the players we've got so time for a change but jeez the guys got bad luck. On the match, we were unlucky, but you get kicked when you're down, there's been other matches where we've scabbed an undeserved win but yesterday we were unlucky and so was TM, again!!
  17. OK I've seen the light and I'm converted, time for Rovers and TM et al to part company. I'm a strong believer in decency and loyalty but enough is enough. I like TM as a human being and I think his values saved our club. I'm grateful and wish him well and nothing but the best but the time has come for a change (and it pains me to say that). We've had bad injuries this season and no settled team available so many square pegs in round holes were necessary, c'est la vie. But now!? No, Tony this is all wrong. The team selection is wrong. Player positioning is wrong. Strategy is wrong. Tactics are none existent. We have good individual players yet you hobble them every match. I scream out for someone to pull the ball down and pass it rather than hoof it. I cry out for someone to complete a pass. Hello! Does anyone want to show for a throw in!!! Does anyone fancy moving off the the ball please. Whilst we're at it a bit of tracking back would be nice. We have enough creative talent in the team Tony, tell Nyambe to be a defender, tell Douglas to be a defender, can we have a George Graham back 4 unit all moving together and as one please. Stick Rothwell in the middle and scream at him until he's creative. Use wingers in wing positions, get someone physical in the centre forward positions. Doing the same old shit over and again and expecting a different result is the oldest form of madness. Sorry Tony, I really am, but it's time to go.
  18. We have ball players up front, Elliott, Dolan, Armstrong, why the hell do we keep lumping balls into the air in the box when it's full of 6 foot + defenders?
  19. Can someone please bring the ball down and complete as pass, PKEASE!!!
  20. Elliott love-fest from the commentators, interesting what they would have said if it had been him going over for the penalty instead of Gally.
