Brittain and Hedges have been brilliant this game so far. Gallagher and Brereton need to get more involved for something to happen though you feel. Buckley has been relatively quiet as well.

This feels like a tight contest between 2 teams that are promotion contenders. Not convinced by Pickering on the left, would be more comfortable with Edun there. Need someone with more pace there.

Really hate when he does that, he has the ability to not have to rely on a dodgy penalty for a goal.

Have to say feeling so proud of this team right now and excited about the future. I think Mowbray was very much responsible for a turn around in our fortunes and creating a solid base for the club to build and grow from during his 5 years with the club. But we had clearly gone as far as we could under him. JDT can take us to the next level and the signs so far are very reassuring. It’s easy to feel positive right now after 3 wins in 3 though but something feels different about this season. The core players from last season are looking stronger than ever, some exciting young talent is coming through from the academy and our 3 signings so far have hit the ground running, with more signings to come. Exciting times!

Can we not enjoy the moment and speculate about Dack as well?

I love that we were under the cosh and JDT made a change to switch to a 3-4-3 so quickly. Mowbray would've waited until the 75th minute.

Get in - Szmodics! Literally did nothing all game but gets a goal on his debut lol I am really becoming a fan of Hedges as well. Calm and collected, unselfishly lays it off perfectly for the goal.

Pretty poor so far. We don't have enough creativity in the side IMO... I think Gally, BBD and Hedges are all primarily runners. We're overly reliant on Buckley getting into the game, if he's quiet then we seem to struggle.

Good win - plenty of room for improvement, which is good. Don't want to get carried away too early!
