I’m not convinced by Buckley in the false 9 role at all. He was at his best for us when he was playing deeper, where he was more active defensively and focused on making the right pass. He’s not much of a goal scorer though and we have very little threat with him in the middle. Really need to consider where his place in the team should be to get the most out of him.

Pretty hopeless so far. Brereton on for Zeefuik and move Giles to LWB. Doesn’t help when we play people out of position. I don’t think we have anything to fear here. We can come back from this if the desire is there.

We need to survive the next 7 games. Minimum 7 points required to stay within the chasing pack. 3 points at Swansea will be a great start! This sort of game suits us and I think we should be able to get a win even with a weakened squad. Only concern is with new players coming into the side and all the expectation that comes with it, we might end up with a disjointed performance.

How is it that scumbag Lockyer has escaped retrospective punishment for his elbow on Gallagher? The guy’s been coughing up blood and now missing the Swansea game. Outside a football pitch that would be considered assault. Given our injury problems already I’m absolutely furious at this.

I think we’ve made 3 top signings in this window in Giles, Zeefuik and Markanday. It’s unfortunate Markanday has been injured though. I don’t know much about Hedges so will reserve judgment until I see more of him. Did any club make better signings than us? Bournemouth, Stoke and Boro are the only ones that have arguably had better windows.

Giles is a very, very good signing. 3rd most assists in the league this season in a poor Cardiff side. Giles and Zefuik are quality wing backs in this league.

So what’s happening? Is Rothwell actually going or is this all hearsay at this stage?

Panicking as the likes of us and QPR are a real threat to stealing the #2 spot. If Rothwell indeed makes the switch to Bournemouth, I hope they continue to falter this season and he stays down in the Championship with them.

We have to keep going and keep the belief. One point at Luton is okay. We have to make sure we don't lose our confidence like last season. Constant injuries, incompetent refereeing and teams bullying us. We have to rise above it and keep pushing ahead. We definitely need more firepower given injuries, but I thought Zeefuik looked okay and JRC looked much better today, which is promising at least.

Luton are an absolutely disgraceful side. I didn't see what happened with Kaminski, but must have been pretty bad if he was that angry!

Why was Kamisnki so incensed?

Can't help but laugh at the fact that the only Luton player to be injured just happens to be an ex-Rovers player. Are we cursed?

Luton are playing very aggressively and we're struggling to cope, but Luton look vulnerable themselves. Need someone more creative than Johnson in midfield. Buckley also struggling to influence the game.

This is the sort of game that the likes of Chapman, JRC, Garrett & Butterworth should be relishing to prove something to the manager & the team. With so many players out, if they are given a chance off the bench they really need to take it.

Looked very good in his brief cameo. Has to be said if he was identified as part of our new European scouting network, it seems to be working wonders so far. Not that we've signed too many, but just Kaminski and Zeefuik alone are fantastic signings.
