We look good so far. The main thing I've noticed is how much better we are defensively with Kaminski in goal. He hasn't done anything spectacular yet, but he just looks in full command of his area and has popped up with a few saves and catches that have looked solid. QPR's danger man is Adomah who has JRC beat for pace, but JRC has done well so far to keep him in check. JRC will need to be at his best today.

It’s ridiculous that we have our 2 star players, first choice goalie, best defender, and best midfielder all injured for this game. After such a promising start we have been absolutely decimated by injuries. I don’t know how you can get good performances out of a team with that many key players missing. At this stage I just hope we can stay within touching distance of the playoffs until we have most players return.

We gave up after the 2nd goal. Only Elliott tried to make something happen. Mowbray said to judge him after 12 games. Well, he needs to at least get 2 wins in the next 3 if he wants to get a passable grade.

Gallagher has offered absolutely nothing since coming on.

Woodman is probably the best keeper in this league. Him and Cabral (who we faced on Tuesday) are probably the 2 I rate the most.

Just feel empty after that. Not good enough. Regardless of your feelings about the manager or the players - 1 win in 5 is unacceptable for a team that's meant to be chasing a top 6 finish.

Started fairly well here. Armstrong fluffed a great chance he created for himself, and Brereton could have sent Elliott clean through but put too much on it. Swansea look more open which bodes well for us - certainly going to be goals in this game. Hopefully more for us than them!

Hmm the Rovers Match Centre lineup has Elliott Bennett listed in the lineup, but just realised it must be a typo and they mean Harvey Elliott. I was actually surprised and confused to see Benno's name given he was on crutches on Tuesday!

The reaction to the lineup on here is much milder than I expected given both Bennett and Evans are starting!!

This is exactly what I thought in terms of our performance and setup against Reading. I think we should stick with the 4-3-3 setup for most games, but I don't see a reason why we can't change it around for some games given the versatility and depth we have in our squad now. Given Reading are in top form and top of the league, it would have been the perfect time to actually respect the opponent and setup in a way to nullify their strengths. I don't see why we couldn't have gone with a 3-4-1-2 (for example), bringing Nyambe in as a 3rd CB instead of Evans in midfield, and had Douglas and JRC as the wingbacks.

Reading is an example of what a consistent team gets you. They've had the same centre back partnership, same centre midfield partnership and same GK playing in every game. In fact, only their RB has been changed regularly. Their front 4 has been fairly stable, but they've been switched around on form. Compare that to us and we've had different combinations at the back and midfield in every game. It creates instability and it's why we are in so much disarray in some games. We've only had a consistent front 3 this season and that's why we are topping the goalscoring charts. This was a horrendous performance though. Ayala, Kaminski and Rothwell need to come back into the side on the weekend and we will get a win.
