After I had got my United Carling cup tickets this morning I went in the club shop for a rovers scarf (a normal aquisition for a Rovers fan in the middle of winter).The assisistant informed me that they hadn't got any so I said I would like a Rovers calender "Non left" was the reply. Not wishing to go home without buying anything my wife said she would get a Rovers wooly hat "We have plenty of other makes but not Rovers" said the assistant , we left immediately.

I shall be going with my wife as we attend all home matches but I am not as enthusiastic as normal after being in a state of depression since the weekend. At halftime on Saturday I had persuaded the chap who sits next to me get a ticket ,but at full time he said "After watching that lot I dont think I'll bother".

Jeff Stelling on Sky Saturday live made an issue of stating that Mark Hughes had rewarded Andy Todd by making him captain in the absence of Lucas Neill. This is scandalous. Le Tissier said he was really surprised by the decision. Its even included in the team news going across the bottom of the screen. This has made me really angry.

It just needs a lively footapping singalong type song that most people know and one that fans can associate with the Rovers. This song does just that. Keep playing it and before long the ground will come alive when it is played.

How many enjoyed the "Wild Rover" being played before and after the match against Fulham. I found myself and others around me singing along to the music and it created a good atmosphere. More of the same please.

My first match was an evening kick off against Everton and it was snowing. Not long after I was taken to Wembley for the cup final against Wolves.

Results from the first two matches played this evening Sweden 1 Denmark 1 Engand 3 Finland 2 I watched the England game and what it lacked in quality was more than made up by the passion and the exciting finish when Finand equalised with two minutes left only for Engand to grab a great winner just before the end. I really enjoyed it, the atmosphere was good and I will now be going to watch the games at Ewood. C'mon England
