  1. Buckley neat and tidy keeping the ball moving and pressing well when needed.
  2. Fabulous half against a very good side. Really disciplined stuff from Rovers. Buckley excellent, Iniesta-style skill at one point from Johnson and Armstrong took his goal fabulously. Bell having a very good game- in fact they all are. Walton flawless and what an assist! Got a feeling this will end 2-1 but either side could win it.
  3. The players should be going to Griffin Park confident they can win but if Mowbray sets us up the way he did against Fulham, we will lose.
  4. Win at Brentford and the play-offs will almost become an expectation. Lose at Brentford and the gap might well be too big with the games we have remaining. Showed the table to my Spanish colleague and his reaction was we could still make 2nd...
  5. That table makes Brentford v Rovers the top two clashing...
  6. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Brentford+railway+station,+Brentford,+United+Kingdom/Griffin+Park,+Braemar+Rd,+Brentford+TW8+0NT,+United+Kingdom/@51.4881637,-0.3078579,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x48760db93a3996e9:0x1d90a4b0418b1c1!2m2!1d-0.3096264!2d51.4875832!1m5!1m1!1s0x48760dc6d595c749:0x9d14b7ba0fa6a6f3!2m2!1d-0.3025508!2d51.488173!3e2 Says 9 minutes but isn't the away end the one nearest to the station now so should be quicker?
  7. I only hope he does everything to justify it after making a start..
  8. Did playing Downing and Armstrong on the wrong wings really work? Open question- I am not convinced. Otherwise a resounding yes to keeping the team unchanged and Travis can biff them with the cast on his broken hand. Absolute must win for Brentford for their automatic promotion hopes but feeling ridiculously positive about getting something other than a defeat with a red card thrown in and another injury from our last ever visit to Griffin Park. We owe them for everything that happened there after the 12th minute last season. However, I fear Mowbray will see it differently and we will get a repeat of Fulham with defenders barred from going beyond half way.
  9. I am sure Mowbray will play Nyambe left back and Bell right back before season end because he spots something in the opposition video.
  10. Well the Charlton performance was excellent although Walton had to produce more brilliant saves. It was as good as the Fulham performance and 60 minutes of Hull were bereft. Perhaps Tombola Mowbray was actually helped by having Cunningham, Dack, Holtby, Evans and Butterworth out for the season and Gallagher and Rankin-Costello out shorter term. He could work with the players he could be certain would be making appearances. That said, any damage to the back four or Walton and we can kiss any dreams goodbye. Think my forecast of finishing 7th is looking good... Anything better not worthy of speculation until after Brentford and Stoke. Take four points from those two and perhaps, just perhaps.. Sweet dreams!
  11. Huge plus for me. Dominic Samuel is a far better footballer than I ever remembered him to be.
  12. Excellent win. Going to get nervous if we keep this run going..
  13. Ref is absolute garbage. Saw the ref in the WBA v Forest game earned himself a completely unguarded dose of derision from the BBC. Championship Refs aren't..
  14. Might be genius, probably Mowbray charity shop.
  15. Tickets for £5 so we have a moan. That's the Blackburn I am so happy not to be living in.
  16. I am very right handed but am typing this with my left thumb in honour of Tony Mowbray.
  17. Got fortunate with the fixture list last night. Great to see us punish a poor side... Eventually.
  18. Wait until you see the goal.... And we complain about Walton
