  1. Another player who with the right psychological help would be much better.
  2. Come 2 pm, hope will have been rekindled elsewhere. Come 3 pm, there will be collective head scratching about the team selection. Come 5pm, the debate will be whether we prefer Wycombe or Oxford.
  3. The only game in the last four where the opponents are clearly the better side. I rate them as better than Leeds and they swatted us away at Ewood. Fully expect dreams of 6th to end tomorrow but if we put our best XI out in their correct positions, we might stand a chance of upsetting the Baggies.
  4. We need to win the next 4 games and for Cardiff to do no better than w2 d1 l1 Swansea to do no better than w2 d2 l0 Preston and Derby to do no better than w3 d1 l0 and Gain 2 goals difference on Cardiff and Derby and hope Preston and Swansea don't smash anybody in the course of getting their wins. Putting it simply, we have to win our 4 and get lucky.
  5. Probably now going to need a run of 4 wins after this week's fixtures for any club to secure 6th. All the clubs have singularly unpleasant run-ins.
  6. So I can watch it after my siesta.
  7. Last night proved the case for Mowbray's removal. There is a promotion winning squad at Ewood but Mowbray cocks it up more often than not.
  8. Excellent performance. Means more hope- I cannot cope!
  9. Utterly rubbish ref
  10. Free kick in perfect Arma position so arma is subbed
  11. Another Walton special
  12. Brentford and Barnsley equalisers in the last minute
  13. I would love to see Brereton and Gallagher under a different manager.
  14. That would be brilliant for Rovers
  15. In an alternative universe before our kick off on 27 June, this looked like it could be the decisive battle for 6th place. Well Cardiff need to keep winning to remain in 6th. My doing match threads has a 100% record of defeats for Rovers since coming up so I have started this one deliberately to put us out of our misery. Not going to hazard a team selection beyond Downing at Left Back.
  16. My issue with Mowbray is he makes too many mistakes. We start off each season at minus 10 points at least because he loses us that many points net compared with other managers in this division. If we ever get to the Premier League under him that figure would double because of the calibre of manager he would be facing.
  17. Brentford and Stoke put in decent performances against Wigan and Barnsley.
  18. In past seasons, we have usually given table toppers a real fright at Ewood even if we might have eventually lost. Yesterday, we were suppine.
  19. Another nothing afternoon courtesy Tony Mowbray
  20. Downing a distinct improvement
