  1. That was pathetic. This squad is far far better than that. Some of Mowbray's body language was off the scale awful when we were playing reasonably OK but needed fire in our bellies. Struggling to remember when we did last play with any passion. We were easily good enough to thrash that limited Brum side when they had eleven. Simply awful.
  2. If you divide Sam's minutes on the field by 3 rather than 2, he is no longer the worst striker in the league...
  3. Not bad- there is a chance we might progress
  4. He is being deployed totally differently compared with his loan spell. That stat changes totally if he didn't have his other goal at Preston chalked off as an of.
  5. Worth remembering Brum are on the worst run of form of any club in the Championship. Their only point came at Ewood of course. That said they played really well in the 4-5 against Leeds. Will be seriously unhappy if we get knocked out in this round.
  6. Give the Bristol City line up another whirl if Nyambe is fit again. Will be interesting to see if Tosin appears.
  7. Remember that useless Spanish keeper we used to have? Well Brentford are now on their own with least goals conceded- just 20.
  8. Not got a clue other than suspecting we are already 3 games into a horrible run of results and this will be the 4th..
  9. So one promotion worthy win at Bristol City step forwards, three relegation worthy games against sides in average 19th steps backwards...
  10. Bennett's passing always a disaster waiting to happen. Chapman coming on.
  11. Bennett was telling Mowbray what to do during that injury break.
  12. Johnson and Tosin didn't go in with the Huddersfield forwards.
  13. Well I have jinxed this. Just got in from lunch, logged in and Huddersfield equalise.
  14. Waking up with a sense of dread about this one. The optimism was nice while the run lasted.
  15. Too lazy arsed to read carefully what I wrote. I covered myself with a caveat.
  16. I am glad you are enjoying yourself! I can't be bothered to prove you wrong but you are. www.transfermarket.com got it wrong.
  17. I meant to say outfield players- plenty of ancient keepers on the move. David Luiz, Jay Rodriguez of course have plenty of Premier League experience unlike our Bradley. The point is that EiT is pretty well correct. Dack is either going to play in the PL with Rovers or the likelihood is he never will.
  18. Occasionally the opposition screens their PL2 games live against Rovers- I have caught three Rovers games that way.
  19. It is if you look at Premier League club transfer policies. There are exceptions of course but that is what they are- exceptions. In fact, looking at transfermarkt web site for last season and this, I haven't found a single PL transfer in of a player older than 27 and just one aged 27.
  20. We probably have the squad to make the play-offs without Dack but not the Manager to work the oracle of getting us there.
  21. This has draw written all over it but Tony's tombola could easily produce a losing dog of a line-up. Seem to recall we couldn't handle their subs at Ewood so we will need to get well on top early to have any chance of winning.
  22. I am quite certain Rothwell and Holtby could play the Dack role if Mowbray put them there and stopped faffing about with selections and formation. Desperately bad news for Bradley and the club. Here's hoping the operation will be a total success.
