Championship season 2019-20
philipl replied to arbitro's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
PNE taking Leeds apart. Looking very well organised and great athletes. -
Any news about Bradley yet?
-
First 20 minutes really poor then picked up from both sides. Rovers had three slick passing moves. Concerned by Brum shooting on sight. By the law of averages at least one of those is going on target second half. Sorry to beat up on him but Bennett's passing in such a crucial position linking up in midfield. Bring on Travis for him please.

Back to serious things, any news on the injury?
-
Just watched Hull City 3 Birmingham City 0 extended highlights. No longer feeling that nervous about this one; 8-2 wouldn't have flattered Hull (and the Brum 2 would have been Hull gifts which Brum spurned) If we play half as well as we did against Bristol City, we will win this. Nyambe should have a field day against their left side and they also crumple under moderate forward and midfield pressing of the man on the ball. What we have to watch is Brum leaving a man free on the edge of the box on the opposite side to the flank they are attacking on.

I didn't say orthopedic surgeon and specifically said the scan would not have happened. There are people who are very knowledgeable about knees who can offer tentative opinions who are not specialist surgeons. For one thing, Bradley probably needed the knee immobilising the correct way so I would have been amazed if a medic who has a thorough knowledge of knees had not seen him before midnight.
-
I would imagine a knee specialist has had a good feel around and tested the mobility of the joint by now and that Kamy has reliable inside information. Of course a full scan is needed to see if there is hidden damage as well as the primary damage.

iFollow was not working in nearly all the second half and all the other feeds were hanging badly. So yes I was watching... A little circle going round and round. Nobody on here seemed to mention it though. -
Here's hoping Bradley's injury is not as bad as it looked. A full and speedy recovery whatever it is.

According to the BBC match report, Danny Graham hit the bar. Did anyone notice it? -
IFollow managed to transmit all of 2 minutes of the second half. Message saying server disconnected.

0-0 the fair result but the loss of Dack is enormous. -

Not a shit game- if you were Wigan you'd be bouncing now. Rovers steadily came more into it but were a long long way short of the level of the last six games. Subs are going to be massively important. Mowbray needs to impress on the team to move the ball much more crisply. Wigan came to totally disrupt and they have done that well. Now time for us to impose ourselves and win the midfield. -

Ok feed has been bad and I probably missed ten minutes of what I paid for... Wigan clearly massively up for this game and probably put in their best half of the season. That said they look short of skill and are pretty certain to make at least one horrible mistake second half. We have see a monster of a difference between the calibre of Tosin and Williams. Skill, presence but quality of decision making is Prem League v League 1 there. Mowbray had better earn his salary at half time.
