We don't want a repeat of goings on at Dortmund at Hillsborough- just the 5 goals in the opening 15 minutes in the second half.
-
Don't worry, we will give it a go..
-
OG 0-2 woohoo
-
We're doomed now. Wednesday down to 10 after straight red.
-
Holtby GOAL!!!
-
Given how they lost at Ewood, we can expect Wednesday to start very fast for this one. If still 0-0 after 25 minutes it will be a case of who takes their chances (s). But more likely to be 3 down.. Incidentally, 40 minutes to kick off and this thread not even top on our football forum page.

I am sad to say, I am not in the least bit surprised to see this thread. Mowbray's transfer activities have sadly completely done for us.
-
I think it is trying to keep eleven players on the pitch and telling them to go explore places they don't normally go.

What is wrong with people's ability to read what I write, I said the most recent time I had watched them live was the Leeds game. I said that they were very unfortunate not to be 3 up at half time at Leeds. Ok I am going to expand that 1) I was really impressed with how PNE defended when Leeds came out at them in front of a capacity hostile Eland Road holiday crowd in the second half. 2) I watched all 90 minutes of two other PNE games which they won shortly before the Leeds game. I normally have a brief glance at other games to see how other Championship sides are going and in both cases, PNE were playing such entertaining football and stayed with the whole game just for the pleasure of watching them. For what it's worth, the only other Championship sides that have had that affect on me are West Brom, Sheffield Wednesday and Brentford. I am pretty certain I caught Sheff Weds on their purple day but I suspect West Brom and Brentford regularly entertain. Brentford neither score that many or conceed any so to be entertaining as well is quite something. I watch probably 75% of Rovers games. Only Bristol City away was as pleasurable. If I were viewing every game as a neutral I would have switched off after five or ten minutes. Guys never mind the Results, turning watching Rovers into a chore is a serious problem on so many levels.
-
I have not watched them since the game at Leeds where they should have been at least 3 up at half time. The basis is the evidence of my own eyes. PNE's best has been far better than our best football and would slaughter the sort of Tony tombola line-up it looks like we will have no option but putting out tomorrow. Yes their last few results have been terrible but we all know what that means when a team comes to charity help yourself Ewood...

Been impressed by Preston's football every time I have seen them. Rovers 0 PNE 3

Barrow looking good for returning to League football. Hit 7 past Ebbsfleet yesterday. Will probably replace Morecambe who sank back to the bottom of League 2.
-
Buckley is undoubtedly a prospect. Needs management that knows how to nurture him and fans with a bit more patience.
-
Back in the Mowbray got to go camp. He is getting at most 75% out of the squad he has at his disposal.
-
That was pathetic. This squad is far far better than that. Some of Mowbray's body language was off the scale awful when we were playing reasonably OK but needed fire in our bellies. Struggling to remember when we did last play with any passion. We were easily good enough to thrash that limited Brum side when they had eleven. Simply awful.
-
If you divide Sam's minutes on the field by 3 rather than 2, he is no longer the worst striker in the league...
-
Not bad- there is a chance we might progress
-
He is being deployed totally differently compared with his loan spell. That stat changes totally if he didn't have his other goal at Preston chalked off as an of.
-
Worth remembering Brum are on the worst run of form of any club in the Championship. Their only point came at Ewood of course. That said they played really well in the 4-5 against Leeds. Will be seriously unhappy if we get knocked out in this round.
-
Give the Bristol City line up another whirl if Nyambe is fit again. Will be interesting to see if Tosin appears.
-
Remember that useless Spanish keeper we used to have? Well Brentford are now on their own with least goals conceded- just 20.
-
Walton at fault for all three goals.
-
Not got a clue other than suspecting we are already 3 games into a horrible run of results and this will be the 4th..
-
So one promotion worthy win at Bristol City step forwards, three relegation worthy games against sides in average 19th steps backwards...
