That 2-0 win at Ashton Gate was probably the highlight of Mowbray's season- one game he definitely out thought the opposition. Putting this as a Must WIN for our Play-Off hopes based on the remaining fixtures after it. Lose and the season is over as soon as it has restarted. Away teams are doing extremely well in German fixtures behind closed doors. -
About 700 of the 3,800 Maltese establishments holding safety licenses to operate as eateries have applied for and received the new Covid 19 certification since they were allowed toi re-open a week ago today. Many of them have shut down again. Takings are 7% of the level this time last year.

The fifth and only female person charged with her murder has an interesting name.

Have Chinese hair dressers arrived in Lancashire?

Agreed Kamy. Her Lebanese background (not that honour killings are unknown there) always made that theory highly improbable in a Blackburn context.

The report says the poor girl was of Lebanese origin. As such her name probably indicates she was from the Islamic community there but not definitively.

The 2020/21 season won't start on time. Either 2019/20 ends behind closed doors or it is written off. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/apr/09/uk-lockdown-could-end-with-sector-by-sector-plan-for-firms?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Gmail

Honor was a great Liberal Democrat. Lovely lady.

What is now very clear. Live sporting events will be the last aspect of society to resume when the virus crisis restrictions start very slowly to recede. So football either has to be prepared to resume behind closed doors or 2019/20 is a non-season. At this point the start of 2020/21 is hugely in doubt. I don't know what the UK might be doing but Governments across the EU have plans for restrictions to contain the virus running to December 2020.

Newell was a much better striker than he as ever given credit for. And Super Atko really was superb. We would walk promotion with those two in our squad now.

+Thanks for this- I was at most of those games, home and away.

Looks like the Euros will be sacrificed so the 2019/20 season can finish behind closed doors.
