  1. I really cannot see Liverpool surviving tonight. They are playing far too badly to trouble Atletico.

  3. Just not good enough. Incidentally, I don't think Brereton and Gallagher are total no hopers but they are under Mowbray..
  4. Well that was abysmal. As suggested two games ago, we are on a Mowbray run of rotten results. Says a lot for this division that we are still three points off play-off with the best goal difference of the clubs around us. What a let down, what a missed opportunity.
  5. This was three points there for the taking but once again the team is set-up wrong. What is the formation. Apart from Bell at left wing back and Walton in goal, who is playing where? Three or four times Rovers played routine passes to nobody because the players had no clue where their team mates were. This is another one on Mowbray, not the players.
  6. Tosin free header from corner should have done a lot better
  7. IFollow have a completely different line up to those posted so far! No commentary either.
  8. Derby without Rooney and Lawrence. Be wary of Marriott off the bench- he will be a nuisance.
  9. Looks like we are going for the 3 points.
  10. Palermo v SPALL suspended because of the virus. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/european/serie-a-cancelled-coronavirus-italy-minister-vincenzo-spadafora-a9385201.html
  11. The 1918 Spanish Flu killed 50 million and sickened 500 million out of a global population of just over 1,000 million. Statistical analysis of public health records shows a dramatic difference in death rate between towns and cities which banned public gatherings early and those that didn't.
  12. The first Serie A game postponed is nearly three weeks ago. Serie A being played behind closed doors this weekend.
  13. https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/coronavirus-efl-derby-county-handshakes-3924762 Precautions ahead of quite possibly the last game before a crowd for Rovers this season.
  14. Barrow imploding with a dangerous 9 games left to go. Got lucky with a Harrogate o.g. straight out of looney tunes avoiding the gap dropping to 2 points. Still have 4 points and a probably unassailable 12 goals difference as a cushion at the top of the National League but two defeats in rapid succession are making it squeaky bum rather than a procession to promotion. 1st April visit to 2nd place Harrogate Town looks tasty and several fixtures against play-off contenders to come...
  15. That was a stroll in Pride Park for the Mancs. Rooney petulantly fouled in the first minute of the second half but thereafter only got close to the ball to take set pieces. The nearest thing to a red card was a long running scrap between Sibley and McTominay. If Derby's crossing is as wayward on Sunday, the only skill Lenihan's stand in will need is short wave radio to warn Air Traffic Control.
  16. Well this is a stroll for a pretty disinterested looking Man U half reserves team. Hopefully Tom Lawrence's injury keeps him out of Sunday and Rooney doubles up on his yellow second half. Rooney is different class from his fellow Rams but has lost most of the short distance pace he used to have and struggles to get around the park generally.
  17. They are all away so wouldn't it be lovely to see Newcastle, Norwich, Sheffield United and Leicester in the semis? Newcastle to lose in the semis of course...
  18. Maltese players will similarly be free to move. And before you mock
  19. Oh what a surprise.. Football agents, money laundering, Serbian clubs and Maltese tax advisors all in the same article: https://www.maltatoday.com.mt/sports/football/100704/malta_tax_advisors_named_in_spanish_money_laundering_probe#.XmDDFZNKiqA
  20. Greaves would thrive in any era but modern teams would slaughter teams from the 60's.
  21. Both teams wildly unpredictable. Will be watching the FA Cup tie tonight and hoping for an old fashioned bruiser, extra time and Derby to lose after 20 penalties so they get thoroughly chilled waiting for them all to be taken..
  22. Two points from two home games and improbably we creep a point closer to 6th. This cannot continue with 6th remaining in touch through others losing- makes Derby a monster fixture.
  23. Mowbray not up to it
