ARMA!

Leeds already 1 down to Millwall

A freak result for me would be to be offered a channel as somebody has some mystery rights to Malta tonight..
-
On balance, we ought to win this one. Hope we stick with the Sheffield Wednesday line-up.

We don't have a thread on the thing that is going to burn/drown/starve/destroy civilisation if not for us, but for our kids. I will kick off with the Australian Foreign Minister at Davos yesterday. "Only 2% of the Australian land mass has burned down." If you have flown from Melbourne to Singapore or KL that is a terrifying statistic. Four hours out of Tullamarine flying at about 600mph you are still looking down at barren Australian nothingness.

Been impressed by Hilton each time I have seen him on TV.

Any news how the operation has gone? Wishing Corry a full and speedy recovery.

That 5-0 ups the pressure on Tony. We all now know how well we can play and that is the standard we should be aspiring to every match.

The Godlike Genius of Charlie Mulgrew

Mulgrew can still do a job at this level. With Evans, Dack and Cunningham all out long term good to have Charlie back at Ewood. -
Championship season 2019-20

Perhaps worth asking the question, if all teams performed to the top of their potential every week, where would we be in the table. My guess is higher than we are now. -
The Ryan Nyambe Appreciation Thread

Really happy for Ryan. Always felt he was an exceptional player with huge potential. -
Tosin oozes class. Yes makes mistakes still but he wouldn't be here without them and gives me the hope we might keep him if we fluke promotion this season.

Exactly bluebruce. The frustration of watching Rovers has been knowing individually and collectively we are so much better than what we have been seeing. Yes a game in which everything comes together like that comes along only once in a while but the gulf between that performance and Luton or Charlton is unacceptably large. Let's enjoy the next ten days but puts big pressure on Mowbray to make sure we kick on. QPR are in many ways the form team of the division so the perfect opponents a week on Tuesday.

First of all we should give credit where credit is really due- to the publicans of South Yorkshire. That is a sterling piece of inn-keeping with the Wednesday players permanently on the lash since their 2-0 win at Elland Road last week. With a bit of luck they won't sober up until after the play-offs.. I am totally delighted but not surprised. In the everyone can beat everyone category, Wednesday had this coming to them since their Rhodes assisted 4-0 romp at the City Ground, Nottingham. And Rovers have a history of unexpected good results at Hillsborough- I have seen a couple of 3-0 wins there and to be honest I think I have only ever seen us lose once there. Also not surprised because I have felt all season that individually and collectively, Rovers are capable of being a lot better than Mowbray usually sets us up to be. Fingers crossed there is minimal tinkering for the QPR game. They are well capable of repaying the compliment back at Ewood; we were quite fortunate to get away with only a 4-2 defeat down at Loftus Road. Shame we have to wait ten days for that game to come round.

In the dug out- he has been subbed. Had a yellow so sensible to replace him.

Meantime, just another two goals in that Dortmund game- Borussia 1 down at HT, winning 5-3 after 75 minuites.
-
Hang on guys, I can't keep up with this. What's going on?
-
We don't want a repeat of goings on at Dortmund at Hillsborough- just the 5 goals in the opening 15 minutes in the second half.
-
Don't worry, we will give it a go..
-
OG 0-2 woohoo
-
We're doomed now. Wednesday down to 10 after straight red.
-
Holtby GOAL!!!
-
Given how they lost at Ewood, we can expect Wednesday to start very fast for this one. If still 0-0 after 25 minutes it will be a case of who takes their chances (s). But more likely to be 3 down.. Incidentally, 40 minutes to kick off and this thread not even top on our football forum page.

I am sad to say, I am not in the least bit surprised to see this thread. Mowbray's transfer activities have sadly completely done for us.

I think it is trying to keep eleven players on the pitch and telling them to go explore places they don't normally go.
