  1. It is if you look at Premier League club transfer policies. There are exceptions of course but that is what they are- exceptions. In fact, looking at transfermarkt web site for last season and this, I haven't found a single PL transfer in of a player older than 27 and just one aged 27.
  2. We probably have the squad to make the play-offs without Dack but not the Manager to work the oracle of getting us there.
  3. This has draw written all over it but Tony's tombola could easily produce a losing dog of a line-up. Seem to recall we couldn't handle their subs at Ewood so we will need to get well on top early to have any chance of winning.
  4. That awfully limited Birmingham side have taken 4 points against us.
  5. I am quite certain Rothwell and Holtby could play the Dack role if Mowbray put them there and stopped faffing about with selections and formation. Desperately bad news for Bradley and the club. Here's hoping the operation will be a total success.
  6. PNE taking Leeds apart. Looking very well organised and great athletes.
  7. Watching PNE playing like a real football team. Not eleven guys randomly thrown onto a football pitch.
  8. Any news about Bradley yet?
  9. First 20 minutes really poor then picked up from both sides. Rovers had three slick passing moves. Concerned by Brum shooting on sight. By the law of averages at least one of those is going on target second half. Sorry to beat up on him but Bennett's passing in such a crucial position linking up in midfield. Bring on Travis for him please.
  10. Bennett rubbish passing as per normal sadly.
  11. Brum seem to be stronger than the team thrashed at Hull.
  12. Who would press the Brum back line more? Ben or Arma?
  13. Back to serious things, any news on the injury?
  14. Just watched Hull City 3 Birmingham City 0 extended highlights. No longer feeling that nervous about this one; 8-2 wouldn't have flattered Hull (and the Brum 2 would have been Hull gifts which Brum spurned) If we play half as well as we did against Bristol City, we will win this. Nyambe should have a field day against their left side and they also crumple under moderate forward and midfield pressing of the man on the ball. What we have to watch is Brum leaving a man free on the edge of the box on the opposite side to the flank they are attacking on.
  15. HAPPY Christmas and six points seeing out 2019 in style!
  16. I didn't say orthopedic surgeon and specifically said the scan would not have happened. There are people who are very knowledgeable about knees who can offer tentative opinions who are not specialist surgeons. For one thing, Bradley probably needed the knee immobilising the correct way so I would have been amazed if a medic who has a thorough knowledge of knees had not seen him before midnight.
  17. Brum will have enjoyed watching Wigan show how it is done in disrupting us. I would select the Bristol City starting eleven and tell them to prove Ashton Gate wasn't a freak result.
  18. I would imagine a knee specialist has had a good feel around and tested the mobility of the joint by now and that Kamy has reliable inside information. Of course a full scan is needed to see if there is hidden damage as well as the primary damage.
  19. iFollow was not working in nearly all the second half and all the other feeds were hanging badly. So yes I was watching... A little circle going round and round. Nobody on here seemed to mention it though.
  20. Here's hoping Bradley's injury is not as bad as it looked. A full and speedy recovery whatever it is.
  21. According to the BBC match report, Danny Graham hit the bar. Did anyone notice it?
  22. IFollow managed to transmit all of 2 minutes of the second half. Message saying server disconnected.
  23. 0-0 the fair result but the loss of Dack is enormous.
