  1. I have absolutely no doubt we have plans and ambitions. Problem is we are not executing against them. It all feels very stale under Mowbray and it is awful when 3 of our 5 defeats can be laid squarely at the Manager's door- wrong selection, wrong formation, wrong tactics, wrong subs. Arguably he totally messed up his instructions to the defence first half at WBA but that was probably a collective players' brain freeze. I am struggling to think the last time when Mowbray picked a team and formation I feel is the best XI we have available- does anyone agree with Mowbray's selections??? I can remember one or two occasions when Mowbray picked an unexpected XI and tactics last season which proved remarkably right in hindsight so those were 3 points gained by the Manager but so far as I am concerned points lost by the Manager are in double figures so far this season. OK losing football but is it watchable? Hell no! Waggott is on a total loser trying to boost the club with what is happening on field at present.
  2. If we keep on losing every third game purely through managerial incompetence we are going to be sweating badly at the wrong end of the table.
  3. I have no doubt about the ambition at Rovers. I have a lot of doubts about our capability of realising it.
  4. At Southampton a lot of things didn't go right for Thompson initially but he persevered and really began to show he is a prospect. Very comfortable win for a very young team last night. Thought Jack Vale looked good. Mols (twice), Vale and the tall Asian lad who came on as a sub all guilty of terrible misses in the second half or otherwise it would have been a rout in the scoreline as well as on the pitch. Vale missed a bad one at the end of the first half as well but have to say Butterworth (subbed at half time after scoring two) and Vale took their chances really well.
  5. Having said Stanley were better to watch than Rovers this weekend, these Academy lads are certainly showing the way. Rankin-Costelloe and Chapman not at Southampton so on the bench v Brum?
  6. Brum have injuries and a red card suspension. Now the time to play them. Unfortunately, now is a great time for them to play us...
  7. We have an injury crisis. Give players a week off. Works them extra hard in training to build stamina and strength. Four break down in training with new injuries. I am no expert in these things but this doesn't seem we are doing things right.
  8. Missed all the goals but what I saw in the last 20 minutes made me feel very fearful about this season. We were comprehensively outplayed by relegation candidates.
  9. So many injuries I was looking for my name in the list of subs...
  10. Australia pulled it back to 1 point but that was phenomenal by England to respond with 23 points without reply.
  11. This looks like a nail biting second half. On the basis of England having poor second halves, Australia having good ones and the fact Australia were caught cold but have dominated first half possession, England have a monster job to make it to the semis.
  12. So Cunningham loan is over as he has a season ending injury. Wishing Greg all the best for a complete recovery.
  13. More injuries ahead of this game. I had been looking forward to seeing Sam Hart play.
  14. Agreed. Whatever happened to Bulgarian football? They used to be a fearsome country to play against with the truly world class like Stoichkov.
  15. Congrats to Lewis and his intended...
  16. Congrats to Bradley and his intended...

  18. Odds got to favour Huddersfield. They have tails up and our tails would have been between our legs except we have no legs because of ACL injuries. 0-2
  19. What a fabulous game Japan v Scotland was. Quarter Finals are going to be immense.
