  1. I agree. Swansea tickets should be at least £40 and £50 walk-on.
  2. Very obvious from the accounts. Sales of players simply make overall debts smaller than they otherwise would have been.
  3. I have no idea what Venky's would do- they are so unpredictable. Any other owner of Rovers inevitably would do this though.
  4. And you enjoy being miserable the club has reduced prices for the Swansea game. two can play this game...
  5. In Season Ticket thread. Delighted the club has taken the initiative to reduce prices for the Swansea game. Revidge Blue's post on here is the daftest posted by anyone all season by the way.
  6. typical Blackburn. Only enthusiastic post on this thread.
  7. Was pleased to see Mowbray told them to keep playing it out from the back. We held possession pretty well second half against a team that presses high up the field like a Premier League outfit. Norwich need a keeper and Premier League quality defenders if they are to stay up. Pukki could be a one season wonder as well.
  8. Whatever Dack's transfer value was, it halved last night v Norwich. Also shifted my position on Rodwell. Doesn't have the mobility and heft needed for a Championship promotion push. Need more of a commanding presence in defensive midfield.
  9. I agree with the positive sentiments. Not saying much but 1) a significant improvement over Graham and Dack 2) for the first time he was moving like a footballer- previously he was easy to spot because he faffed around the football field. He was on the pitch for all of the second half and it seems quite a few hadn't spotted the half time subbing. Says to me he could yet come good if a DG/BB swap cannot be spotted.
  10. I thought that was pretty encouraging. Any team outside the PL top 2 could have been blown away by that Norwich start but we hung in there and increasingly showed we can compete and play decent football. Sure we need upgrades in the playing staff to deliver what we are trying to do but that was a very decent second half performance from our lads. Yes Norwich need significant strengthening not to come straight back down. Of the teams we have played this season Newcastle and Sheffield United are a level up on the Canaries. Would have loved to have sneaked an equaliser but what we saw was a physically stronger outfit in Norwich. When we had contained them we began to compete in all aspects. Note I said compete, not beat them. I have to say the whining and wingeing on here was a bit over done.
  11. Much better second half from Rovers. Need to rough them up but ref is not letting anything go.
  12. Norwich made the most of the adrenalin rush of the promotion party at home but Rovers have hung in there. Want to see us more competitive in the second half with more midfield bite than we have managed first half. More goals in this if we can get Rothwell, Dack and Graham in the game and Arma more ballsy they won't all go into our net. Leutweiler coming good as the half went on and some awesome defending from Lenihan and Williams.
  13. Raya would have saved both. Travis reply excellent. Travis and Rodwell need to wake up.
  14. In contrast, wide open in Leagues 1 and 2. In League 1, only Bradford's relegation is settled. Everything else is still up for grabs. Portsmouth and Sunderland both have a game in hand so either or both could still pip Luton and Barnsley. Seven clubs trying to avoid the last three relegation slots although Scunthorpes home defeat to Bradford puts them in huge peril and Shrewsbury and Wycombe would need to lose by monster margins and enough clubs beneath them to win for either of them to go down. In League 2, only Lincoln Champions and Yeovil relegated are certain. Newport in 11th with -2 goal difference but a game in hand can still make the play offs as can the three clubs immediately above them. Five clubs in contention for automatic promotion while Macclesfield and Notts County are trying to avoid the last relegation slot.
  15. Problem with the trotters launderette is the piggies eat all the cash and all you get back is pig shit.
  16. Hart no way thanks. Nervous wreck these days. Dingles turned their season around when they were able to drop him. Would prefer Raya massively. Ridiculous wages and not the future.
  17. It sounds like a fetid mess. Look under every stone and in each drain and there will be another wriggly thing or worse.
  18. Something seriously untoward is a reasonable guess if we are trying to be logical based on what is in the public domain currently. However, if it were a serious criminal enterprise, it would be sufficiently funded at this stage and what we are seeing instead is more likely a poseur winging it. You don't mention Dave Richards and John Williams unless they are sitting with you in a press conference. He may well have rung them up but as things stand he is more likely to be dodging their unhappy returned calls than unveiling them in a completed take over. Either match fixing or ego tripping, Bolton are screwed. I reiterate my point that the administrators are probably Bolton's best and only future.
  19. they are not but it does give Brentord a gimme to finish ahead of us. Forest cannot make the play-offs unless Bolton's results are expunged.
  20. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/48077182https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/48077182https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/48077182 Where is PFA?
  21. Leeds +2 v BW Norwich +5 Sheff U +5 So again unless Leeds hit eight against Villa, even GD makes no difference to the title in the event of Norwich and Sheff U both losing their last two games.
  22. Leeds Norwich Sheff U all doubled Wanderers so no impact at the top. It is the play off places where Derby lost away to them and the others in contention for 6th didn't which get mixed up. Ultimate irony if Boro miss out on 6th through a club not fulfilling its fixtures- no sympathy! Likeliest scenarios are going to be either Bolton starting L1 with -10 points or L1 being only 23 clubs next season. Having propped Bolton up this long, they will find a way of surviving the next 9 days.
