I think the Joyce story is a spoiler/cover. Warnock got tapped up at Rotherham by Rovers who were doing things on the cheap. He resigned there to avoid compensation to the Millers and took on trust he was going to Rovers after a decent interval. Cheston going on holiday when Warnock was due to sign was additional cover to it not being a tap up but it proved a very helpful window to pull off the coup by the tantric one. B seems to have been sold a repeat of the Kean relegation scam so Warnock was instantly history and Rovers with him. Same people behind the scenes, same sort of contract at half the price, same deal for lower division performance, same collusive team picking, same sorts of dodgy telephone numbers and reward structure apparently... Only Coye is much more successful at not being hated in the way Kean was so is proving more useful. Senior brought in to muddle the water when Coyle began to face supporter pressure. As is being rightly pointed out, my credibility is negligible and nobody should treat any of this rubbish I have shared here seriously.

Precisely- deliberate sabotage. Neil Warnock had been appointed all but sending him the contract and Cheston was over-ruled and the Agent's man turned up. Coyle's track record is abysmal yet he has not been sacked. This is deliberate sabotage. Just look at the most recent posts on the Brum game and the people saying "I don't understand why Coyle settled for a point against a beatable Birmingham and dropped us further into relegation trouble." Anyway no logical arguments yet that we are not being sabotaged.
-
This is nothing to do with finances. Tell me how and why what you have seen of this season so far is anything other than deliberate sabotage. Have a look at the recent posts on the Coyle Out thread and tell me a rational reason other than deliberate sabotage for what is happening at Ewood.
-
Let's flip this about. Convince me that this season isn't deliberate sabotage.
-
I am 99% certain that Rovers have to be relegated this season.
-
Looking at the table, we need to win all of: Wigan H Rotherham A Burton A and QPR H and then fluke another 15 points from somewhere. Basically we are as good as already down even though we are currently just 2 points from safety.
-
Well it appears there are four truly awful sides in this division so we have a 25% chance of not going down.
-
So we put a good little run together, got lucky with one dire performance, got beaten by PNE in a slightly less dire performance and we have ended up ahead of a relegation slot by a goal difference of 4 with a midweek trip to the Division's in form team to look forward to.... And a scrap against a Neil Warnock team after we totally messed about with Warnock this summer is only going to end one way. So apart from Rotherham, who are we going to finish ahead of? Answers on a post card to dodgy bookies, Pune... Coyle's League 1 bonuses looking pretty secure.
-
For the first time this season, I feel we can escape the drop. However, it is a huge difference between that feeling and actually doing it- there will be false dawns and real troughs.
-
I am afraid this spells out the trouble we are in. The footballing mismanagement of yesterday's game totally beggars belief. I keep saying this- there is no explanation of anything on or off the field that is both rational and legal.

At least a good crowd to chant Venky's Out. Being serious, I cannot see the Raos resisting the wish to be there rubbing shoulders with Elton John. There will be loads of dark-windowed limos drawing up so the crowd will conclude the Raos are in town even if they are not. -

Go down Moses Sun going down will be appropriate songs to mark relegation with. -
Fascinating that Modou Barrow couldn't get a game for us when he was here on loan.
-
Accy will be a division above us while the dingles will be a well-established mid-Premier League outfit like we were until we got Venky'ed.

She's lovely. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6rcV1ltrNo -
So what a rubbish night of football that was. I guess Coleman is now free to be appointed at Ewood... (only being annoying, sorry)
-
Russian betting syndicate?
-
Seems Stanley more than held their own until the 94th minute when Wimbledon had their first shot on target. Nervous night in Accy and a 0-1 deficit to overcome.
-
Gutting for Stanley. Bristol Rovers scoring in added time to knock them out of an automatic promotion slot. Would fancy them against Wimbledon but they will be swamped by opposition support at Wembley whichever of Pompey and Plymouth win through the other semi-final. Got to be long shot outsiders for promotion now.
-
Have to regard this as the one and only chance for Accy- got to go for it!
-
Just need to avoid screwing up against Stevenage and they are there!
-
This is a little sad of me but it suddenly struck me that if Accy get promoted, the Accy-Bolton game will set a world record gap between competitive fixtures. The last previous meeting was in the 1892/3 season... A little matter of waiting 118 years for settling a local rivalry.
-
Probably need three wins as both Oxford and Bristol Rovers are capable of getting three wins from their remaining games.
