Agree with all your ratings. Coming on 5 goals to the good with 20 minutes left is surely the dream scenario to stamp your case for inclusion?

Irrespective of the 6-1 result, there is much better to come from Young, Walker and Sterling- I hope

Hmm. this doesn't resolve who gets the top spot if England and Belgium draw on Thursday...

If Nixon gets anything right at Rovers I will be very worried.

Harry Kane is the only goal scorer

I know its the Mail but Russia's performance in the World Cup raises monster ????s http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5878241/FIFA-knew-cover-Russia-players-positive-drug-test-18-months-ago.html

Expecting England will contrive to make extremely heavy weather of beating Panama and could easily only draw. If we are a serious proposition then there should be at least a 3 goal margin. I cannot see us beating Belgium in the last game if we have to win to top the group (avoiding Brazil or Germany in the quarter finals) so we need a six goal margin this lunchtime. On the basis we don't do in game time what we do in pre-match preparation, I hope there has been extra air shot and putting it wide from four yards training for the lads- we had five of those against Tunisia....

That last gap German goal opens three intriguing but remote possibilities: 1) South Korea can still qualify 2) Mexico can still fail to qualify 3) Mexico 1 Sweden 0 and South Korea 1 Germany 0 produces a three way dead heat for second place in Group F: W1 D0 L2 F2 A3 Pts 3 Just seen Audax's post back a page discussing this possibility.

Jaberwocky makes as much sense as this thread does!

Dunny leaving his role at Rovers
philipl replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Freedom of expression includes the right for dissenting voices to call utter bullshit. Back to Dunny, I applaud his decision to take a step back from football and work on other interests in life. Yes Dunny has been wonderful for the Rovers and who knows after a period away might well continue to be in the future. -
Have very high hopes for Darragh. Think he could be a revelation for us this season. Hope we get another central defender in so there is intense competition for places.

Welcome Joe Rothwell. Looks like a lad with excellent potential and adds steel with ability.

this thread is nothing about signings but good entertainment when I am in a perverse sort of mood.

Why I said substantial and not massive. Will be over 1,000 for sure.

That Ipswich away opener is going to be massive. The away following will be substantial so going to be important to give them a great start to the season. Seem to remember too many good performances with bad results at Portman Road.

Shame about Armstrong whom I thought looked very useful. Glad Nixon is not getting any tantric tips right.

Brilliant game- agreed Argentina have a rubbish manager. Croatia look very dangerous opponents in a competition lacking a stand out side so far. Russia are banging them in but are in the worst group ever seen in a World Cup finals- there's an invitation for someone to offer worse.

Supporters Consultation Meeting - Thursday 21st June
philipl replied to J*B's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Thanks Madon- very helpful. This is a valuable exercise for club and fans. With incommunicative people owning the club, the more channels that are open the better even if it does appear to be duplicative. Ask the same question more than once and it is always possible to get a different and more revealing answer. -
