  1. Rovers have to produce a performance from the first minute. No ifs buts or maybes. Mindset is more important than who actually gets picked.
  2. The PL is fabulous for a neutral this season. Less fun if you are in it.
  3. I am reluctant to call it a must win but after losing the must not lose to Norwich this has become a must win.
  4. Handy thread. I know the Jerome Anderson/Steve Keane idiocy Venky's indulged in heaped most of the problems on themselves but Venky's are now down getting on for some 350m including the buy price and contributions. By all means call to boot them out if you can find someone else with 350m they can invest/waste/squander over 12 years.
  5. There is very little comparison between the teams- yes a dog shite club has done that but Kompany has worked the loan system to total perfection. What the dingles money grubbing owners do next season is a very open quiestion.
  6. Talk about big club bias. Had I been de Zerbi, I would have clocked the fourth official, not the opposition Manager.
  7. Did you see the Boro defending? Even Rovers would have scored at least 4 against them.
  8. Roll over Haaland, there is a Rovers 15 year old coming for your place!
  9. Cannot remove box above but was going to agree the Match Centre wasn't working when suddenly it did so sparing me from the Norwich commentary.. The reason for this post is I have recurrent nightmares with how JRC got caught in two minds when addressing the chip into an empty net early in the second half. Just go for goal man and forget about looking across for Gally.
  10. No matter what side is picked, if we play like we are capable of we will have too much for Huddersfield. If we don't produce a performance, Huddersfield will beat us. It is in our hands...
  11. Massive test of character. If the team that showed up at Bramall Lane shows up, this will be a classic but against a team without the individual flair Sheffield United have.
  12. In previous interviews JDT has said these are areas of his game Adam needs to improve
  13. Great to see Adam get a run out and was a class above everything that had gone before when he came on. The one bright spark in an otherwise desperately bad afternoon.
  14. Looks like a goalless draw. A lot of huff, not much puff. Rotherham saying thanks very much to WBA for the free headers.
  15. TK has realistic Belgian international honours aspirations so a place on Rovers bench is definitely not in his plans. The world would be very different if we win the play offs. Then the question becomes which if either has the mental and physical strength to withstand the coconut shy of a PL relegation fight.
  16. Having Everton connections, I can tell you that Lampard is rubbish as a man manager and intellectually lazy with it. JDT is leagues ahead of him.
  17. I am an overseas Rovers TV subscriber who will probably have to watch by nefarious means. Notwithstanding that, Rovers and Luton are going to have the advantage of knowing what all our rivals have done before kicking off. That could be absolutely enormous at that late stage of the season.
  18. What do you disagree with? There are some 300 or so video analysts employed in the top two divisions. What do you think they do all day?
  19. Adam made such a splash when he first came into the side, he will have been watched and analysed by all PL clubs but also every Championship opposition. Sounds like even under 21s have a game plan against him. Adam is not the only brilliant precocious youngster in any field to find the transition from boy wonder difficult. I am disappointed he hasn't made a midfield slot his own and put his name first on the teams heat but if the current coaching and support team at Rovers can't set him.up for a fabulous career then he probably isn't capable of making it as a pro footballer. He could be destined to playing Harry Redknap's effusive praise and predictions after Blackpool away on continuous loop when he is 90 and bitterly wondering what might have been.
  20. We were watching a different game. Newcastle were very sloppy in the first half and less charitable opponents would have taken advantage. The first 4 goals had ribbons and score me on them. Pope was only punished for one of his three howlers.
  21. When this game comes round we will be happy play-off campers or desperate to get the show back on the road. Either situation will spur sale of all the tickets.
  22. A distinctly out of sorts Newcastle have been gifted a 5-1 win by West Ham this evening. Moyes looked like he'd seen the ghost of management past.
  23. Well done to everyone who snapped up those tickets. Now fill the home stands!
