  1. How peevish can you get when you COULD show it but you're limiting consumption to those who have been fleeced £15 per head for it in Jack's Kitchen? You can see the logic in one way as if you'd paid extra you'd be fuming if people were watching it for free in Blue's but I just find the whole thing Absolutely disgusting.
  2. The way you phrased it sounded like we should be happy to scrape a draw or not be heavily beaten by most teams in the division.
  3. And in any event why should we be happy to "hold our own against most teams in the division?"
  4. It'll be slower than going in a "normal" queue soon if they play like that for much longer.
  5. Operation piss the fans off obviously in full swing. Maybe the licence for the Sky covers the whole ground and they'd forgotten to turn the channel over. The plebs in Blues havent paid £15 a head to watch it in Jack's kitchen so therefore aren't entitled to watch it I presume. Even though it's available.
  6. What do you expect people to say after a performance like that? And, tbf, it's four defeats out of five this season, and an overall record of five wins three draws and nine defeats under Ismael. It's not just one bad game.
  7. They did change the rules - a genuine attempt to get the ball is no longer a red. Very fair imo.
  8. Well that's not the ref's fault - Mclaughlin knows the rules. If it was a pull back/trip as described it's a red. He should take the risk that Toth bails him out.
  9. Ref has to judge it a genuine attempt to get the ball for it not to be a red. If he has no chance of getting it - it's a red.
  10. Not watching, Cantwell back to normal then?
  11. I get a load of grief/dislikes if I say that!
  12. Not sure. Having looked it up it seems as though Terry Garbutt (who I thought was really ordinary) went to Sheffield Utd and Cosmos at the same time as Tony Field and also played with Pele.
  13. Blimey, Id completely forgotten about that. There were three of them altogether weren't there including Smallwood who were in a similar sort of position and got extensions because good old Tone didn't want them to feel left out. Not quite as bad as giving Gladwin a new deal so he could use our facilities to get fit but still absolutely scandalous.
  14. Followed Furphy to 1st Division Sheffield Utd. Don't think he did much there but ended up at New York Cosmos who at the time had signed people like Pele and Beckenbauer at the end of their careers. Famously there's a picture of him with Pele, Id imagine he's the only ex Rovers player to have played with him! Not sure if any played against him when he was younger.
  15. It is a bit odd.....maybe we know we're coming up short on our other targets (unsurprisingly) Maybe also he didn't stick up for the lady who's left. If he had, you wouldnt have thought Suhail would be stepping in to block it. It'll probably go through with a raft of add ons taking the fee to a sum that "could" reach an eye watering £1.5m. If Peterbrough reach the Champions League and Harry gets his 10th Cap for England etc etc
  16. You were right first time. 🙄
