As far as Asante goes, no one would be even mentioning him if we hadn't been tenuously linked with him. He's definitely not the man to shoot us into the play offs imo. We'd need a lot better than that.

Not sure if you or sg are right now, I'd have agreed with you in the past but it does now feel like a determined asset strip of the playing side and Swag is obviously just trying to keep his £300k p.a. coming in until the last possible minute or until he retires whichever comes sooner. We'll know for certain in summer 2026 I guess when the **** properly hits the fan if it hasn't already done so by then.

This RJS bloke is almost constantly anti Eustace . Makes Eddie look like a huge fan. There's also an account in there in the name of RoverEnd which sticks out like a sore thumb. He is constantly counselling against going up in the play offs, wants us to build slowly, he doesn't want us spending any money this window and wants us to blood youngsters for the rest of the season as he sees this year's work (avoiding relegation) as done. Then whenever he posts, everyone ends up invariably agreeing with him.! A lot of them on there look like Club plants or paid bots, if not they have major problems.

I don't blame Eustace but that's been going on for a while now with him expressing the hope that existing members of the squad could step up in several different interviews. Probably when he realised he wasn't going to get any worthwhile backing.
