  1. No I agree with that IF you're going to scrap replays (which I disagree strongly with in the first place)
  2. For "unable" substitute "unwilling". But as you say either way the eventual outcome is the same.
  3. What's the upper age limit on the U21's whereby they have to register? Edit - scrub that. I was getting confused because overage players can play at U21 level.
  4. Dyche would be quite a coup for them I'd say. Depends on whether he wants to dive straight back in or take a break.
  5. What, after the recruitment team moved heaven and earth to bring in the mighty Adam Forshaw?
  6. Think we'll have to hope that the fact WBA seemingly don't want to pay compensation for anyone will save us.
  7. That's not that much of a carrot for the lesser sides. No replays where 2 teams are playing each other from the same division?
  8. Pretty sure you couldn't do that, it would be open to all kinds of abuse.
  9. Can you just unregister someone who was previously registered?
  10. Schlupp not looking very likely either - Palace manager saying that he doesn't want to lose him and the player hasn't asked for a move. Bearing in mind his contract expires at the end of the season, the situation only likely to change if someone comes in with a 2-3 year deal and Schlupp decides he wants the security.
  11. Can we just summarise all this as chaddy believes that everything the Club says will happen does and you (like 99% of the rest of us) dont?
  12. I wonder what happens if Eustace doesn't like any of the names presented to him?
  13. You're having a fun morning! What number are we? 60? And what time is it there? Nailed on for another adjournment?
  14. Don't think they do have to, that's the point. They have to provide a guarantee which presumably doesn't cost them anything as long as they stick to the rules but makes them personally liable if they send money somewhere they shouldn't again in future.
  15. It's all virtually irrelevant to the football club at this stage I think. If they want to fund us they can. But as Paul Mani said they don't like the idea of being personally on the hook for it. Whether or not the Court case materially affects other areas of their business I've no idea.
  16. So basically, you don't give a toss that Tamworth were deprived of the replay and the vast amounts of money (for them) they deserved yesterday? If it was us, we've also got less chance of holding out against City for 120 mins than 90.
  17. Agreed. Unless there are two strikers coming in which I very much doubt. Be lucky to get one decent one probably.
  18. It was a pretty major issue at the time, the medical revealed a cracked vertebrae.
  19. Someone like Leonard you mean. Lol.
  20. Rashford and Toney on loan it is then. Someone get on the blower to Balaji quick! There'd be some severe malfunctions of the administrative machinery at Ewood on deadline day if those two deals were in the offing. Lol.
  21. There's a thought, Toney reportedly unhappy in Saudi. Lol.
  22. Yeah shame to see Toney wasting his career and reportedly unhappy in Saudi. His bank manager will be happy enough mind.
  23. Yeah, we need the money for that, not like we've sold £40m worth of players or anything.
  24. Yeah we owe them one. Not the worst draw - will give an indication of how we'd go on with this squad if we were promoted. The Nobbers got the draw I wanted, home against Wycombe.
  25. If it's any consolation, think he'll always be a nearly man. Look at Slot who's come in first season and is romping away with the League. Havertz cost Arsenal the game today and they won't win the major prizes with him up front. It's incomprehensible to me why Arteta has persevered with him for so long, it's not like they couldn't afford to bring a top striker in.
