  1. Augustus Pablo maybe, bit of a pioneer of dub...... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Augustus_Pablo
  2. Anyone know when an Augustus last wore the blue and white?
  3. I've had that message on other sites (not on BRFCS yet) so until StubbsUK posts an answer maybe try this if not too much trouble - log off and immediately log back in.
  4. Received one of the quarter zip sweatshirts the other day - really good quality, should be ideal for the chilly winter months!
  5. I'm no twitter expert but don't think there's anything more straightforward than this.... https://www.trustedreviews.com/how-to/download-videos-from-twitter-4209491
  6. A wise move. You should know by now that the laws of physics don't apply in Chaddyworld so the laws of football don't stand a chance.
  7. He did indeed... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlFYo0NwN8E ..... decent cross from the underrated Shefki too. Think it was a season opening game wasn't it? Must have been quite a Goal of the Season video that season.
  8. No idea if it's where he got the nickname, but there was a character in Camberwick Green (kids TV) called Windy Miller..... https://comicvine.gamespot.com/windy-miller/4005-82428/
  9. Couldn't have told you the year, but think I was at that one. It was as though all 22 had been on the razz all night on NY Eve and couldn't be arsed running around
  10. Think that was when they were playing at Loftus Rd. We were behind the goal and got a cracking view of his second, We won 4-0 that night. Pity he couldn't have hung around for a bit longer, would have been very handy if he caarried on like that.
  11. It was mentioned on the radio today : the one I remember is Portsmouth, forgotten the other one.
  12. Mike, try this one. Might or might not be the one but worth a watch
  13. Off at a tangent from the game..... played against their dad many a time as a youngster. He was a county (maybe country too) level player as a teenager so a bit of a treasured scalp for us oiks, played around the leagues (Lancs, Ribb) for years after that.
  14. Pretty much what I was just thinking Gav. For those who weren't around at the time, think of some of the shouters brigade from here
  15. Was that JAL? Haven't seen him posting for ages. Maybe he's on HSH's payroll these days
  16. Haven't seen it since, but I always think of our goal being a cracking headed og from van den Hauwe. But then again if it was that good maybe it would have made it onto one of those og VHSs
  17. Ta. Think that's the first time I've seen that game since the day. Remember that Duff goal well.
  18. To answer Rog's question, maybe! I went to a 6-1 about this time and after checking the Jackman, there was a 6-1 at the start of the following season. vs Sunderland. I'd remembered the game I was at against a team in red and white stripes and getting in about 3:05 and we were already 1-0 up so that all points to v Sunderland, but was sure Patty had scored a hat trick so that points to v Sheff Utd. Either way, there was another 6-1 just a few months after Sheff Utd
  19. If they're successful I wonder what it means for Joe Public and shopping loyalty cards?
  20. Fair comment, but isn't GDPR an EU thing at least in legalese? Suppose we'll find out more soon enough
  21. I'm glad I wasn't the only one to remember that! So - like you (DE) and a lot of others I suspect - won't take too much notice of words. Will wait to see evidence.
  22. Don't think BBC iplayer is available outside the UK 'officially' but expect there's some way around that for the tech savvy
