As usual, the biggest concern is whether the people in charge are capable of bringing in a replacement that is at least as good the the outgoing player. IE do we trust them to bring in a keeper that is better or at least at minimum as good as Raya?

Let's hope it turns out better than Whittingham in that case. There are a few interesting players without contract at the moment. I saw for example that Yoann Gourcuff has no club. De Rossi leaves Roma. Under our PL days (particularly under Sam Allardyce) that could have been a signing that would have been even slightly possible. Get a few good years out of him. These days? Like someone on here said, It's strange that other clubs, like Newcastle, Blackpool etc, the media always look at what the owners actually do and then judge the fans. For us it's been the fans' fault from the beginning. I once heard a pundit on Swedish TV say that the our fans were upset that "the owners promised a lot of money and the took it away".
