  1. Seems mad, knowing how close Newcastle came to being relegated the previous season they haven't taken any precautions this time round. Signing players with no relegation clauses, no thoughts towards lower income or FFP implications Haha, well spotted sir! If they still managed to get hit with a FFP ban with players only earning that much, what are they doing with the rest of the money they have!
  2. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/04/11/newcastle-would-have-to-pay-jonjo-shelvey-80000-a-week-in-the-ch/ The Geordies face to prospect of paying players like Shelvey huge wages should they be relegated as they didn't put any relegation clauses in the contracts. Not sure what the parachute payments are these days but if they screw up promotion at the first time of asking, FFP would surely come along and bite them. That article also states Scott Parker was on £75k (*Edit - Cheers DE) per week at Fulham last season, no surprise to see them get hit with a FFP ban with players earning that much.
  3. I think that's correct. I seem to remember Mourinho going ape on the sidelines against us one time when they had a goal incorrectly ruled out for offside, after a Chelsea player was through on goal but squared it for another player to tap in. Should have stood because he was behind the ball.
  4. So after 5 months of having no console to play on,this weekend should see it return. I think I've forgotten how to play the Witcher but very much looking forward to getting back into it.
  5. Love Duffer. Absolutely class winger, I was gutted when he left us. Cheers for the good times, good luck in the future.
  6. Sorry I thought you were on about Samba. My mistake.
  7. Wasn't that incident Givet? I don't recall Samba kicking off under Allardyce. Seem to remember he kicked off in January after Allardyce was binned off because he saw a good manager sacked for no reason and replaced with a total clown. Who can blame him?
  8. Watched some of the first video, game looks good. Different to what you normally see. Although, you dropped your mate in order to save your own skin, harsh man, harsh.
  9. I have high hopes for this. In fact, i am very much looking forward to it. Never been much of a trekie but Abrams did a decent job of the 2009 film, so as a Star Wars fan, i'm hopeful he will get this one right also.
  10. I think FF7 is one of those few older games that are still as good now, as I remember them being when they were first released.
  11. The FF7 remake kind of makes me wish I had a ps4. Although I have the original game on my phone!
  12. I thought the previous 2 Batman games were superb. Once i get through the witcher (if i ever do!) Batman will be on my list.
  13. I nearly bought ESO instead. Glad I didn't now. The Witcher is a great game, really enjoying it. I loved Elder Scrolls:Oblivion and then Skyrim came along and that was always going to take some beating. The Witcher might just do that.
  14. Bought the witcher 3 this morning. Looking forward to playing that tonight. Anyone else played?
  15. Last time I saw Theon, he was not in a great way.
  16. No arguments from me on that one.
  17. Everyone else will have seen it but I am just catching up on Game of Thrones. Nearly up to date. Just seen Prince Oberan v The Mountain in season 4. Holy Sh*t that was brutal.
  18. I am almost scared to admit to M-K that I really enjoyed Far Cry 3 Don't hurt me
  19. Logged onto Xbox live last night ad noticed that they are giving away a free game every month for people with a gold account. At the moment its Fable 3. No idea if its any good or how long it will be available tho.
