  1. A difficult vote because in reality, i don't really want any of them. Assuming Allardyce wouldn't be offered it and Warnock would reject the circus, I went for Duff, purely to be someone out of left field.
  2. Haha, I thought you were joking! https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/liverpool-steven-gerrard-al-ettifaq-training-sessions-liverpool-games/blte2c52de4e4cabebd#cs8ce47ac81db0a517
  3. I'm normally against a short term, motivational, shouty type manger, one who goes to a club and there is an initial upturn in results before being found out (see Tim Sherwood etc.) BUT I agree that the foundations here have already been laid, we probably do need someone just to come in, leave most things well alone and just keep the players motivated and switched on. If Gerrard is that guy, then go for it. Till the summer and then review. (I'm not suggesting we go for Sherwood before anyone starts!)
  4. Richie Wellens? Gary O'Neil? Aitor Karanka? Lowey till the summer? Jesus wept, are we sat 5th in the championship or are we bottom of league fucking 1? Why are these dross names even getting a mention? Where is the ambition for a club with a chance of returning to the promised land? Waggott and his begging bowl need to be heading to Cooper or Dyche and selling this opportunity to them. Absolutely ridiculous.
  5. This is a huge decision from the club, an underwhelming appointment and/or a poor one could totally derail this season. We saw last night that the players aren't prepared to give this up without a fight, we all need a solid appointment to give us the best chance of doing something. Throw in that we are coming off the back of another total disaster situation created by the people running the club and they have some serious good will to make back up here. Frustrating that we only look at out of work managers, with the money we have received from transfers and the 750k they've just pocketed, they should be going all out for the best man for the job, irrespective of if they are currently employed or not.
  6. Agreed. It also sounded like the players had basically organised themselves to a large extent, I guess Lowe just picked the team and that's about it.
  7. Jesus wept, a sorry state of affairs if that's the best we can muster.
  8. This should be the most liked post of all time
  9. Finally we can close another total Venkys clusterfuck. Right, appoint someone decent you utter clowns 🤡
  10. Absolute classic Mowbray performance from WBA there. Need a win ✅️ Bit of pressure ✅️ Put in a turgid performance ✅️ Shunt a few players about to play out of position ✅️ Sub on as many attackers as possible ✅️ Have no structure or recognisable shape ✅️ Turn it on for the last 5mins (+added time) to paper over the cracks ✅️ Have a slice of lemon drizzle and a nice cuppa ✅️
  11. Yeah, he's not good. Not for the first time with loan signings, we've got him on loan a season to early. Watch him go somewhere else next season in the championship and have a good season.
  12. Big Mak with the back heels now! The lad can do it all.
  13. Cool as a cucumber it was. And I'd have subbed him off at half time!
  14. Live scenes in Waggotts office as he text's Eustace telling him he didn't need a striker in January because he already had one.
  15. Brittain is too good. Can't wait to watch him walk for free in 18months.
  16. Normally we had a dreadful 45 and a good 45 under Mowbray, so they will probs batter us in the 2nd half.
  17. Up until that moment, I forgot Weimann was on the field.
  18. He's had a good 45. Really trying to impress Lowey in the dugout
  19. Agreed, certainly wouldn't be averse to getting him on a longer contract.
