  1. Absolutely disgraceful statement. Trying to pin it on Eustace and claiming "significant investment" in January. Fuck off, just fuck off the lot of you.
  2. I haven't made a snap judgement, just that he'll need more in his locker than pace to be a success. They had him sussed after his second run, where he booked for simulation (on 25mins) because he did very little after that other than get tackled/out muscled until he was subbed off 40mins later. We all want him to be a success and no one is writing him off yet, jeez. Just don't get too carried away either.
  3. Everyone getting excited over Kargbo because of his pace but after a couple of runs yesterday Wolves had him sussed and he was little threat after that. He could come good but he needs more than a weird hop and a sprint to make it happen.
  4. 4-0 defeat here. The game is borderline a side issue due to the sheer incompetence of our ownership, when it should be a huge game for us. Armstrong (and Mowbray) to come back and haunt us in tremendous fashion. It'll be Damien Johnson, who's the poor sod in the dugout also.
  5. Expand to other social media if you can (as well as Facebook)
  6. As always nothing makes sense with these lot. The academy has been our life support for players in the first team and provided the biggest transfer fee received for a player. Scaling it back makes no sense, if anything they should be investing more into it.
  7. Imagine next season when we shift about 3000 adult season tickets. Absolutely mental.
  8. But we'd have to sign replacements that come with signing on fees and agent fees. We can get players on longer contracts and sell them. Watching them walk out the door for nothing brings no benefits whatsoever.
  9. Very interesting read. The lack of contracts for some of our players is a huge concern for me. We are going back to the days of letting good players walk out for nothing and I can't wrap my head around that.
  10. Because as it stands right now, he's still our manager and he gets paid to do a job. If the board aren't sitting down with him until later he still has an obligation to do his job.
  11. I think we're beyond the point of him staying now. He clearly wants to talk to Derby and his head has now been turned. He's unlikely to ever really be 100% committed to Rovers going forward. The writing was on the wall as soon as he didn't shutdown the official approach after yesterday's game.
  12. Always liked Robbo (shame he became a Dingle though)
  13. As someone else said earlier won't be much going on today, after we had a game yesterday.
  14. And people wonder why we can't muster a protest as a fan base. Christ.
  15. Apparently he was coming for a medical the following day or something. Total bullshit, as was proven.
  16. Deffo sounds like Suhail needs to be the focus of some campaign. The blokes a snake in the grass and is strangling the club with his horrific decisions.
  17. Sadly he doesn't look too active, his last activity coming in October 2023. I'll direct any tirades his way anyway though. Just incase.
  18. You've literally said the real reasons for him wanting out in this post. The owners, Waggott, Gestede and Suhail have let him down. The family line is just there to keep his nice guy media profile up. Do you think he'll be turning down the Chelsea job for family reasons if offered?
  19. No, I don't think he will either, at best he'd be a last ditch effort by a newly promoted club to keep them up but other than that, I think he's done. The issue is that footballers and football managers tend to believe their own hype and he'll probably wait it out for some time before the realisation sets in that he's going to have to drop into the championship. There is obviously the other issue that he's a Dingle Legend, so probably would avoid us on that basis alone.
  20. We won't be going anywhere near Allardyce or Warnock i don't think. Dyche would be commanding too much in wages and will likely be holding out for another Prem job (not that I think he'll get one)
  21. Is Rob Edwards that good? Got Luton promoted against all the odds but he was sacked by Watford after just 11 games and had an absolute mare when Luton came back down. Was his promotion just a Coyle-esq fluke?
