I think some rovers fans think the game is being played in Australia the way they are harping on about it You wont get deep vein thrombosis going to Cardiff.

I was very very pleased with the performance – each player did their job well. I thought that if we had 2 decent strikers up front, or had played with at least 2 of our existing strikers from the start we could have won it. Nelsen and Todd were superb at the back and Morientes / Baros hardly got a sniff. Mokoena did well in the centre of midfield – he looks more a holding midfielder than a centre half (what we initially got him for). Pedersen’s set pieces were rubbish last night which was disappointing – our most creative player having an off night. Anyway, one point closer to safety!! -
John Williams in tonights L.E.T: - "No discussions have taken place between us and Arsenal about changing the venue. "We are preparing for the game being at Cardiff and it promises to be a great occasion for our fans."

I dont expect any decision to be made until Thursday night after the Newcastle game in uefa cup. The 2nd leg of the next round of the uefa cup is on April 14th (Thursday), therefore, if Newcastle progress - they are sure to play on the Sunday. From uefa.com - Quarter-finals : 07 & 14 April 2005

Great move for both of them – no point them staying at Rovers if they don’t play. Personally I would rather see McEveley in front of Matteo the mutant and Douglas more involved -

Great performance and result yesterday. The best team won – we went there with a game plan, worked to it and out-muscled Everton in every area of the field. Credit to Hughes for his tactics and well done Jon Stead – a real confidence booster for a key time of the season. Lets hope he can bag a few more now! -

HA HA - You have to feel sorry for them… all they want to do is beat us but they just cant manage it, no matter how bad we play…. Poor inbred, 3-legged MUTANTS. -

...we are not gonna sell out because of the fiasco that is our ticket office.
-
Yes, I suppose so... I just want to be able to get tickets ONLINE
-
Why dont rovers set up a link with ticketmaster, like Villa and Arsenal do??
-
My mate went down yesterday was queuing for 1h and 30 mins – when he got to the front of the queue they had NO RECORD of me being a season ticket holder despite having my membership number and address; they weren’t going to give him a ticket but my mate refused to leave until they did. Fools! I’ve been a season ticket holder for 16 years!! I think it would be much easier for us to be able to go online, type in the season ticket number and get them. I would always use it. Rovers have apparently been working on improving ‘’our online sales facility for some time with PTV’’ who operate most of the football club websites. They launching an online ticket booking system that will allow season ticket holders to book their own seats etc on 14 March - a letter is going out to season ticket holders in the next couple of days explaining how this will work. I think the PTV is a poor excuse – they could have easily set up their own web site and sorted an online booking facility AGES ago…. That’s what they did with the club shop – they had a sister site. Imagine the ticketing CHAOS if/when we get to the semi finals??!!?!

Excellent preparation that not having all the windows open.

It's ridiculous. If Rover's database has my season ticket account number which is accredited to the same address as my Debit card AND is the same address to post my ticket too why on earth can't I AT LEAST claim my own seat online? Just think, at the moment it's only season ticket holders claiming THEIR OWN SEAT!! Imagine if we had 25,000 season ticket holders!! They'd need a week to sort it out. I can understand not putting tickets on general sale online but this is a joke. I dont work in Blackburn & can't get to Ewood so what do I do? Answer: Take time off work without pay - drive to Ewood - queue up - claim my own seat - return to work. It is 2005 isn't it?

SteB is just makin up excuses. He doesnt want to go next Tuesday as its book club at the local WmC
