Also, the fact that European games being played midweek (which will obviously be the way to fit the games into the calendar) are the ones that chaddy is slagging off backs up the theory that because he has Sky he wont say a bad word about anything relating to how they move games, but anything on TNT sports deserves stick. -

I dont even get why Sky want to show some of the games they are moving. Most TV viewers including places like pubs will go for Forest v City. Coventry v Stoke on Sky Sports main channel might have a reasonable viewing but aside from that, who aside from those teams fans are watching the other games? Which lunatics would actively choose Reading V Crawley or Walsall v Grimsby? -

It happened last time, there was initial disdain towards those who deserve it and a general realisation that under these owners we will never thrive. Fast forward a few weeks and Tomasson seemed to go from being lauded for speaking out to a traitor. Albeit he obviously wasnt as relevant in Championship terms as he went off to Sweden. People havent learnt even though its happened again. -

Also, this idea that we have moved away from every game being at 3pm. Its not as binary as that. Theres moving a few games. And theres moving quite as many as we see today. Theres usually one or sometimes 2 on Friday, 8 on Saturday dinner, 1 on Saturday evening, usually 2 Premier League and 1 Championship on a Sunday and then maybe one on a Monday. So maybe 14 games moved, 8 of which are all at the same time. It might be the "best league in the World" (straight from the Sky propaganda machine) but it doesnt sit right prioritising people in other countries over people who are going to the game. -
But we forced him out the door at the end of the January window desperately. So you have: - desperation to sell - selling in the January window where teams dont do the bulk of their business - selling at the end of an already shorter window so time pressured - he hasnt played as much as he would have done had we waited until at least the summer All of them factors caused him to be sold for less than we could have got for him. I dont get the obsession around England under 21s. Archie Gray had barely played for them before his transfer to Spurs.
-
There might not have been a big queue late in the January window to sign him. That doesnt mean we wouldnt have been able to get a lot more in the summer though or even beyond. Distressed seller pushing him out the door late in the mid season window where you always get less big money deals doesnt mean that if it was the summer, if we wasnt as desperate and if hes further showcased his ability, then we couldnt have got a lot more.

Derby are both dreadful and their confidence is on the floor. Playing them both and attacking them from the start has to be the way forward. -

2 points from 12 games for Derby. Anything other than a win tomorrow isnt good enough and we may aswell pack up now in terms of play off chances if we cant overcome these. -

As others have said, the stick is being aimed in the wrong place. The narrative in the main would suggest hes just a one off greedy traitor. -

After spending ages criticising my suggestion of playing Ohashi and Gueye and saying how wrong it was. And also how Hedges must start and Dolan doesnt deserve to. -

Games will be moved more and more, inconveniencing fans more and more, and you will keep swallowing it up. I understand why it is done, greed, and I also know that clubs and broadcasters alike dont give a shit about supporters who go to games. I understand fully. I just think it warrants being called out because its become disgraceful. I think say 5 or 6 games out of 46 across the top 4 leagues all moved (one at a time, not 8 games on at once) each weekend is more than enough. Decided in 2 blocks so the first half and second half of the season are decided well in advance. And no team shown more than on 2 consecutive weekends without having a break from TV and back to Saturday at 3pm. That would be a fair policy. The current setup is clubs and broadcasters showing disdain and disregard to the fans. -

Its obviously not all down to Sky. They, the clubs and the EFL have all conspired to create a shit show that totally inconvenices fans. The clubs shouldnt be agreeing to it. You seem to think giving notice makes it all ok. If I said I am going to rob your house in 6 months on x date, would that make it ok? That being said, for half of the season they dont even bother doing that, the Boro game is only in 4 weeks. "They want to see who has something to play for" will no doubt be the justification but it doesnt so that. Pick them in advance, if you have to suffer the odd dead rubber amongst it, hard luck, but dont inconvience fans with late changes to avoid it. We will have had 6 Saturday 3pm home games all season, less dependant on more changes. 7 EFL games are all shown at the same time on Saturday dinners, why they need that many I have no idea. Surely you cant think that is a healthy situation. -

This particular situation seemingly does affect chaddy negatively, albeit in a quite minor way. But hes backed himself so far into a corner that he cant even bring himself to be annoyed. The argument put forward to defend moving so many games this season from sky was "justified" by him because at least they gave months of notice before moving a ridiculous 7 games to each Saturday dinnertime each week. Now they have reverted back to type for half a season and even thats supposedly not an issue. -
They clearly would like to get rid of Casemiro, that terrible signing has already been made though so theres no way of shifting him. Its not particularly relevant.

Comments full of people who cant go anymore. Only 4 weeks notice given too to add salt to the wounds. -

Weimann has been a very useful addition amongst the squad but has shown signs of aging and now has a serious injury. We shouldnt offer him a new deal. -
He is an absolute waste of space, one of two deplorable lap dogs. But any opportunity to get promoted being sacrificied is down to the owners, no one else, even the idiots they pay too much to carry out their objectives of (ironically in this case) solely minimising costs.

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
roversfan99 replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
According to you, every manager ever has been happy with the staff because they always say that they are when they join. I have no idea if he genuinely is happy with the staff or wishes he could bring in more, thats my point, we dont truly know. Im not saying he isnt happy. Do I think he would have taken the job? He has been out of work for a year having been sacked fairly soon into his reign at two previous Championship clubs. He said that every other club he has spoken too since has been in relegation trouble. We were in the play off places, he gets a 3 and a half year deal and knows that the job is there as long as he wants it regardless of success or not. So yes, I think he would have taken it regardless of the staff changes he was permitted to make. -

Has he said the same thing that every single head coach or manager has said? Ill be impressed if anyone ever comes in and says, im not happy that I cant have more of my own staff but I will have to make do with these. -

How do you know that Ismael is happy with his current staff? -
Although its only on goal difference, weve now become 4th in a race of quite a few to get into 2 spaces. Hard to feel any confidence that we have a reasonable chance but we must get 9/10/12 points from these next 4 to stand a chance. If we dont it will just fizzle out.

Just seen a regurgitated Alan Nixon article on twitter about the accounts who puts the profit down to the first chunk of the Wharton sale and selling Szmodics. Surely that shows a total lack of understanding regarding accounting treatment. The (pure) profit on Wharton will 100% go into the accounts on an accrual basis, timing of payments is irrelevant. And Szmodics was sold after the accounting year. Also, is there a chance that the highest paid director is Suhail?

A theory that might have more credibility had it not been an ongoing prediction by the same poster for years and years.
