Bizarre Waggott et al swerve the currently soft-soaping, inexperienced lot at LT and welcome in an actual proper jouno. Also, it's pretty incredible what @glen9mullan has managed to whip up in the last week. May well be a glass ceiling to what's it's ultimately possible for you to do (understandably) but you've had the measure of this lot and all their various cronies since the start. We held all the cards as well and were we a normal club could have held out for a much bigger fee from Palace or the inevitable next suitor. It's not like Adam was gonna kick off if he didn't get a move. By all accounts he was in tears at the prospect of having to leave. Fact is we had to sell for a knock down fee to keep the lights on.

Wasn't the case for the likes of Bowen, Scott, Watkins, Gray etc whose respective Championship teams got fees up there with the highest ever received for players moving up to the Prem. We should have at least got similar for Adam.
