  1. Looks like someone's run over them in a tractor
  2. I hope not. Don't want to put them off before they've even started.
  3. LT now saying it's one experienced keeper and one younger one to compete, which means if Foderingham does come in, like you say, he'd have to be the experienced one, surely, and then that's your lot on older keepers? I take your point on his ability but when names like Ruddy and Adrian have been banded about being left with Rangers #2 would be a bitter pill imo.
  4. It's also been said on here that if we bring Foderingham in TM wouldn't be as concerned about bringing in plan A. So Foderingham could potentially be it, which would be disastrous in my view. Not a good enough #1 and nowhere near an upgrade on Raya. Getting a bit concerned now.
  5. TM on #Rovers’ keeper search: “Coming to an end and we’re pretty positive in the next couple of days we’ll have some announcements to make.” Announcements plural
  6. Would not be happy with swapping Raya for Foderingham
  7. Bizarre stuff at Huddersfield. Appears real...or at least they played in it tonight! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49026053
  8. Signs definitely seem to point to Carson. I'd rather Hart but it's swings and roundabouts with those two. Balls-up v Croatia vs Balls-up v Iceland!
  9. Is Sevco Rangers? Be Cory Evans probably
  10. Was it you who suggested West Ham's Adrian was being looked at? That would be a superb signing.
  11. Happy with Gallagher. Lad was closely linked with the likes of Bristol, Stoke and Brentford. Good to get the better of the kinds of clubs we want to be competing with for top 6.
  12. Eh, Davenport and Chapman both were/are first team signings? Injuries saw them in the U23s initially but both will be first teamers this year.
  13. Interesting that it mentions Jansson wasn't happy with the Leeds keeper during the earlier part of the season and then later fell out with the replacement. If he's playing in front of the Raya we saw last season, there could be fireworks.
  14. No chance Jansson would have been on Mowbray's radar. He's far too outspoken and single-minded a character. Seen as a disruptive influence at Leeds. Would never pass Tony's fit and proper footballer's test.
  15. I trust that the local media outlets enquired as to Mowbray's intentions of replacing Raya or otherwise after the Barrow game (a leap I know.) Hopefully we'll know more tomorrow.
  16. Darlow is far superior to both and a top keeper at Championship level with a promotion to the PL on his CV. An upgrade on Raya in almost every department (agility/shot stopping I think they're on a par.)
  17. The Raya thing depends on who we bring in to replace him. A Carson/Forster/Ruddy-type then I think it's okay. Raya will be a top keeper in future but he's a long term project and one clearly Tony isn't up for.
  18. Well done mate. Can you tell us who it was now?!
  19. Blackburn Rovers @Rovers 39s #Rovers are delighted to announce the signing of experienced Championship midfielder Bradley Johnson from @dcfcofficial on a two-year deal.
  20. Johnson would be the exact right sort of experienced player we need. As in solid top 6 player with some years and legs left to offer. Butterfield has been good in the past, not sure where he's at these days.
