We absolutely would be though, goalscoring isn't our problem it's keeping them out the other end. We've got the top scorer in the league, highest goal difference and we're 12th. Should've been spent at the back if we're going to talk in hindsight

Rovers v QPR Sat 7th November

I don’t disagree but I think if brereton can consistently show the levels he’s been showing recently then he’ll he well worth the £7m. Just hope he can keep it up -

He worked his arse off yesterday, maybe could say that about him on previous showings, but yesterday he was grafting all over the pitch -

Oh yeah we’ve just spent 500k on a keeper and started him every game until now just to give pears a game. Cracking conspiracy -
After our deadline day signings I was dead against this happening, but with the amount of injuries we've recently had I can see the reasoning. Hopefully he's kept himself fit and can fill a hole whilst we wait for some players to come back

Wouldn’t take much notice from our commentators, don’t know their arses from their elbows

Who was it that said this was the best football we have ever played? 2 wins against newly relegated teams and 1 against an out of sorts derby side. Tony’s had more than enough time to sort this defence out, unacceptable

Gallagher is abysmal

I also think that if it was as simple as having a slow build then every club in the country would do it, rather than firing their manager and trying to appoint better. Having said that I think the frustration comes because we can all see how close we get, but we're constantly undone by either individual errors or tinkering. But the fact these individual errors have been happening since Tony took charge it's hard to not point the finger. The league this year is much weaker than previous seasons, and with the games coming so thick and fast any team that can stay injury free and show any semblance of consistency will get out of this league. Just can't see us being that team as we can't seem to do either of those things.

I'm convinced he has absolutely no filter, just say's what immediately comes to his mind. 4-2 down with 10 mins to go and he's saying 'no need to rush, plenty of time to get a couple of goals'. I do wonder if they actually believe what they are saying sometimes, makes it an even tougher watch. Another one was when Derrick made a long ball out to Gallager I think? and the co-commentator said that was a mm off being a perfect pass, and it was about a yard over his bloody head!

Rovers vs Reading at Virtual Ewood

Had a little nosy at a Reading forum earlier and they don't seem overly confident. Expecting a dull 0-0 here as we fail to break them down -

Fully agree with this, and its crazy to think he was originally a midfielder. I do think we are a worse team without him though, just seems to be very inconsistent like the rest of the team -

I fully get the thinking behind dropping Armstrong, maybe it would give him a kick up the backside, but feel we'd be far too toothless without him. I'm sure he's aware that he's been below his best lately, so hopefully he'll be back at it tomorrow against his former club -

Imagine being an opposition fan and listening to that biased nonsense for 90 minutes. Hard enough as a rovers fan -

Just finished listening to this, and it reaffirms to me exactly why I won't be kissing Venky's feet after a few good years under Mowbray. The fact Coyle was even appointed, let alone kept on for so long is an absolute disgrace, and just shows to me that we are always one decision away from everything collapsing again.

So you’d rather watch it when it’s finished, how’s that for a time delay?
-
Why would you be happy to rewatch the match but not watch it live?

In other news, glad we didn’t sign that Freeman when we were linked last summer. Fat, lazy and a gobshite
