  1. And a coach that shouldn’t be either
  2. I haven’t judged a player off YouTube since Villanueva. I will not have my heart broken again
  3. Whatever happens this week, it’s unforgivable that Pears will be in net against Burnley.
  4. I keep saying ‘41m banked/brought in’. I’m not saying it’s not true, could even be more. Can someone breakdown the outgoings for me? Sorry if it’s been done before.
  5. Ruddy and Dembele are so uninspiring. Dembele hasn’t done anything since the season prior to going to Bournemouth and Ruddy isn’t a particular upgrade on Pears. Would much rather go the way the rest of the window has gone and use some creativity and thinking outside of the box. That, or recruit players that are an upgrade and within grasp like Iverson.
  6. Germain will sign for Sunderland and bag 3 against us now.
  7. He shouldn’t be though. We’ve need bodies in before SS left. Do see your point but no chance should the fans accept that
  8. The lack of funding being provided for transfers at the moment is absolutely criminal considering the revenue made from outgoings. Pears and Szmodics replacements needed as an absolute minimum. And not loans either, starters who will make an immediate impact. Anything less is unacceptable. Not seen much of Poku or the PSV keeper but they seem to make the most sense here for what seems like minimal outlay. After that we need LB cover, CM and a winger. Don’t want them to be loans but most likely will be with these bozo’s.
  9. My main gripe is that we’re likely going to have to rely on loans and I don’t want the Clarksons of this world rocking up. We need the Tosin’s and Elliot’s
  10. Running out of loans that would genuinely make us better rather than risks or experiments
  11. Sad to see him go but it was inevitable. Can’t really be upset at the price when you consider his age, one great season and seemingly only 1 club interested (should’ve been more). We need some signs that the money will be invested today. Rumours, bids - anything. Won’t hold my breath though.
  12. I remember the good old days when we used to put value in to having a top drawer keeper. Not under these bozo’s though
  13. Can definitely breathe a bit easier if we replace Pears, even if it’s unknown how good he is. That’s how bad Pears is. Further away from relegation just based on that
  14. His time as understudy was somehow even worse. He needs binning off completely. Liability and stealing a living.
  15. Happy to have someone through the doors but can’t help but think these signings are meaningless when we have Pears between the sticks.
  16. I mean, I dislike Waggot as much as the next person but don’t think that’s a suitable choice of word
  17. Pears as #1 and Buckley being a captain even in a friendly paints a bleak picture. We are an absolute joke of a club.
  18. Apologies if posted elsewhere but can you pay in the door tomorrow?
  19. Depressing window. Looking forward to this windows instalment of ‘ask Gregg’.
  20. No way that Broughton can defend this window if it stays as it is. Will be amazed if we sign any one half decent now. Are we on our z list yet?
  21. Partly right. But they were never going to invest in the LB area after paying 2 fees recently. Same with RB - once they bought Brittain, that was going to be it. I do think Travis and Carter as stop gaps when Brittain is injured is probably enough. Wharton has staked a claim for CM recently but I must admit that prior to that we looked lacking. Mola can also play there apparently.
  22. They've added a forward - we didn't score against Reading They've added 2 CBs - we conceded 3 goals against Reading
  23. Haha. He plays LCB and LB, plays in Germany and he'll need a work permit. Makes too much sense to me!
