  1. It'll have happened. It's just that Sharpe is on his holiday and the new guy at Lancs Live knows less than I do about what's going on at the club. Which also begs the question - why did Sharpe drop a transfer grenade last week mid holiday? Should've kept his mouth shut
  2. Think I believe unleaded's post from yesterday... GOAT
  3. Not sure I agree with that. He just looks disinterested and lazy every time I see him. Think he's one that will end up dropping down the leagues. Obviously hope I am wrong though
  4. Also linked to go to Boro on season long loan.
  5. There is zero chance of us signing Van Hecke. We can forget about that. If Brighton do stupidly want to sell or loan him, he'll be going elsewhere unfortunately.
  6. It drags on because it’s us. Nothing more, nothing less.
  7. Let’s also not ignore that Malmo qualified for the champions league group stage with him as manager! They won 4 qualification rounds including Ludogrets and Rangers. All appointments are a risk but at least this one would seem like a calculated one.
  8. I like hearing it. It’s good that people share and I appreciate it. Don’t understand why people are secretive about who the players are though. Especially when there is zero chance that they’ll come to us.
  9. Fair point well made. A forward who knows where the goal is should have been brought in. Even if they’re just better than SG at scoring.
  10. Okay, so who scores the goals when Brereton gets injured?
  11. What frustrates me is before Edun gets injured we are not going in the market for a LB. So were we not going to sign anyone today? All this talk of a player from abroad? A striker? A midfielder? These positions need addressing. Happy with the windows business? Yes. But just sick of the mixed messages coming out of the club. Happens every time window!
  12. Leeds wouldn't let us terminate his loan.
  13. CM and Striker a minimum today. Giles would be nice too. More if Rothwell goes. But suck it Joe!
  14. Have you looked at Rothwell’s stats? Why are we bothered about him going? Hedges is decent. I’ve seen him with my own eyes. Shrewd signing.
  15. I just hope we actually do good business tomorrow and actually spend some money. Thoughts on Rothwell: I absolutely despise him. Understand him wanting to leave and better his finances but pushing for a move to Bournemouth? What a dick move that is. Zero respect from me. Anyways. Hope Mowbray does the business he was already going to do - Striker (abroad? Any names?), CM and this wing back from Wolves. On top of that we need a replacement (or 2) for Rothwell. I hope we don’t do what we usually do but can’t help feeling pessimistic about tomorrow.
  16. Brentford I could understand but zero chance he goes to Bournemouth this window.
  17. Love this ‘as long as the fee is met, he’ll go’ line. Literally like everyone in world football. Everyone has a price. And the whole concept of buying players revolves around the fee being met. If he goes to Bournemouth/wants out to go there and has faked this back injury then he’s a big snake. (And stupid as he can wait until summer and maybe go to a team in the Prem). If he leaves for a Premier League team, fair enough. But don’t be a prick about it
  18. Is she better in the net than Pears?
  19. I don't understand the scramble for Maja. Yeah, he's a decent player but he's not played footballer proper for months. We need someone that can hit the ground running - not someone that won't play till March/April. Just my opinion, obviously. I do think there will be someone that we've not thought of that may come in. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
  20. He's usually spot on with his info. Be a great signing if true!
  21. No real words to describe this shambles of a window (if it stays like this). All of these wingers being brought in to play false 9 makes me angrier than it should. Mowbray hoping at least one of these players comes good but it shouldn’t come down to this. where’s the forward planning?
  22. Would usually get on board with something like this. However, Gallagher has the touch of a bouncy castle and the footballing intelligence of a nat so it's a big no from me. We could try him up front though, in the middle. You know, in his actual position? Would probably do okay there.
