Wharton and Szmodics, our only saleable assets...watch this space.
I thought The Eggs job was to “increase squad value” or some shite like that.
Not the best look when your main assets are academy lads (and Szmodics).
We have Jack and the academy he built to thank that we can even muster a team together these days!- 1

Club is finished until there is a complete overhaul at the top.
Still an agent's playground. Winning means nothing to the tossers above the manager. JDT should walk. The right man in the wrong era and environment. He is working with crap, being given buttons, and expected to pull off miracles.
I can only apologise, Jon. This isn't the real Blackburn Rovers you are dealing with. The people above you are not ours. I do not claim any of those bastards as representatives of this fantastic club.
Venky's, Waggott, Silvester, Gregg and the rest alongside you. Bollocks to the lot of you. You deserve relegation. Sadly, it is us, the players and the manager who will be left hurting by it.
Here here - the day will come when they fuck off eventually.

Broughton has signed three centre forwards during his time here (Hirst, Telaovic & Ennis) in a combined 30 appearances they have not been able to muster a single league goal between them. The man is clueless.
That’s atrocious.

Feels strange typing this but I can’t wait for Gallagher to get back into the side, and I’d put him down the right wing. Moran and Markanday have offered nothing in all the matches I’ve seen.
Someone said it on another thread a few weeks ago…..the longer Gallagher is out for, the more we start thinking he’s Ronaldo.
Regardless, he’s an upgrade on anything we have available right now.- 4

Greg Broughton is so far out of his depth it’s laughable

Great finish by Siggy. Quick reaction, hopefully see some more of that.
We’ve started like we did a month or so ago, fast and not allowing the opposition time on the ball.
Let’s kick on and have a big result.- 2

What I’d give to see us put a performance in like Luton have today. Superb fitness, fight and determination.

Some folk are too quick to judge - he's not had any real game time before today, other than in the reserves.
I've said since he joined (based on his goal record at lower levels), he knows where the goal is. If he plays a run of games, he'll score goals.
Based on the REGIONAL 4th tier of German football this guy really knows where the net is.
So does Tony, the plumber who plays part time for Chorley at the same level this lad has only ever scored a goal at.- 3

I reckon he's going to be quality.
He needs to learn to catch though and confidence will help him cut out the schoolboy errors.
Not sure if it’s satire or not. Looks like he has his left glove on his right and his right on his left from what I’ve seen. Hopeless

First game I’ve missed for a while. I’ve not re-read the thread but I imagine it was a mega bipolar affair with the ups and downs in the 1st half.
Not much else to add on Rovers now, I’m on the verge of being done until Venkys are gone. Venkys Out. Waggot Out.
Steve Cooper - you lot are in cloud cookoo land. We’re going one way under this stewardship and it’s back to league 1.
Best thing that’s happened here in years was JDT but in true Venky spirit they didn’t back it up. Any hope was lost in the last two January windows (O’Brien fiasco then ‘India froze our funds’ bullshit). They have no interest. They’re the problem, always have been, always will be.

Only Rotherham have conceded more than us this season. That is pretty bad….and guess who comes to Ewood on NYD

There will be about 8k on for some of the mid-week matches in 2024.
VENKYS OUT

Summing up that we have no leaders on our pitch….
Jake Garrett, a young academy lad, eager no doubt, but not someone I’d describe as creative, decides he’s going to take a free kick from 30 odd yards out and have a go at goal.
How is this allowed. it’s such low percentage, poor decision making, no leaders or authority in our shirts

The frustrating thing is we need a complete overhaul on the park but Venkys won’t give us a pot to piss in, and when they throw us a fiver we have Broughton picking out a keeper with biscuit fingers, a crock of a striker who couldnt control a bag of cement and a German non-leaguer who looks lost.
We’re only going in one direction, and it’s bleak. Venkys, Waggot, spineless players, -8 GD. There isn’t much to like at this club right now.
-
Never want to see Callum Brittain in our shirt again. Offers absolutely nothing and is weak as piss when it actually matters. Pathetic.

50 points is the goal now. This club is spineless all the way from the owners to the starting 11.
Absolute relegation fodder -

Brittains defending was shocking for the goal too

He’s clearly the best option out of himself, Telalovic and Ennis (not that that’s much of a statement)
