  1. The ‘Hedges can defend’ stick is a complete myth isn’t it. He tracks back and isn’t lazy but his actual defending is useless, he’s just a body back there And Pears’ distribution. Holy fuck has it got gammons for feet or something. Rubbish
  2. It’s a beauty. Seen it a few times so it must be owned by a regular.
  3. Liam Livingstone giving it Venkys Out as he twats the ball over the boundary
  4. WBA squad is like a whose who of players we’ve been linked with over the last few years (or players Chaddy wanted us to sign) Styles, Wallace, Swift and Maja
  5. I’d say it’s more that Foreshaw, Woodrow and Sanderson are shit and Dennis has played about 1 hour in a year. Kargbo should be starting now over Hedges though But yeah, see the above and considering its the middle of February = shite transfer window
  6. Given the options we have yes. We were the absolute pits when he went off against QPR. He offers a lot more than Cantwell, ACD, Hedges that's clear as day from this season.
  7. Funny that Carsley was favourite in the Derby market a few days ago (ex-player) and now favourite in ours (ex-player). Can’t see him wanting to work under our current lot.
  8. It is utter shite and I’m pretty sure it’s the cause of why half the Irish and Scottish Rugby team are Aussies, Kiwis and Saffers.
  9. Pompey 3-0 the other week. Yeah we're shite away from home against rubbish promoted teams (don't think we've beaten one for 3 or 4 years away). But at home, against bottom of the league, who haven't won an away game all season and have conceeded 63 (!!!!) goals in 30 games, whose goal difference is 15 goals worse than the next team - if we're calling that 'tough' then we might as well give up.
  10. Dolan, Dennis, Kargbo and Gueye as the front 4 in whichever way fits. Cantwell doesn't deserve to start.
  11. Whilst I agree with the sentiment - we can't be calling a Saturday home match against bottom of the league who have to travel 6 hours as 'tough'. They haven't won a match away from home all season. By default it is our easiest match of the year. (which means a defeat would make it even more interesting with the crowd!)
  12. Feels like a shot to nothing tonight. Club back in turmoil, no manager, away from home mid-week and big under-dogs. Win with next up a home match against bottom of the league and well, it's suddenly a very attractive proposition to anyone unemployed with coaching badges. Optimism - Felt like we lost every mid-week match we had with Mowbray (although it still feels that way!) Optimism - Will the players be fired up after everything that's happened this week? (although they could equally be depressed about it all) Travis will play a big role in which Blackburn Rovers turns up tonight.
  13. Clinton Morrison struggles to string a sentence together, I wouldn’t worry about what he has to say
  14. They have a very good team Coventry. Shows what happens when a club reinvests their money from sales. £35m for Gyokeres and Hamer and reinvested with 12 players costing over £2m each in 3 windows. Our £35m from Wharton, Szmodics, Raya etc has barely seen £2m reinvested in total I’d be very surprised if we finish above them Just to add - not a single one of Coventrys starting 11 tonight was there 2 seasons ago. Complete build on the back of those two big sales. It’s much rosier at Cov since Waggott left the building
  15. Wouldn't it be up to Derby to announce it though? They're not waiting around for us to get a replacement before confirming themselves.
  16. It is a bit strange that nothing has been announced yet
  17. The Simon Jordan stuff is complete nonsense. His whole argument was based on an assumption he plucked from the air that "he agreed with the owners/board that we're going to sell some players in the summer and this is what you've got" and because we've lost a few games he's gone to the board now and said "despite what we agreed last year I want some support/backing as we have a chance of promotion" to which the board say "we agreed what we agreed at the start of the season" He has literally just made a huge assumption to put a load of blame on Eustace assuming that it's him who has changed his demands (but nothing on the owners/board who recoup £40m and spend £2m) He constantly says 'this is me reading between the lines' which in reality is, this is me making one big assumption based on no facts and no knowledge at all, to defend the owners/board.
  18. These are mythical odds some random website has posted, as far as I'm aware I've not seen the market offered anywhere. Added to the fact, that list of names alone represents 233% overound i.e. some muppet has just pulled together a random list of numbers.
  19. Quite the opposite - he's extremely outspoken in the League of Ireland and has gone in on the FAI multiple times. That's the exact reason he'd not come here, wouldn't work under the mugs in charge. Edit: just to add after reading replies - I agree he did seem shy as a player, very different persona as a manager currently.
  20. How are Cooper and Edwards run of the mill journeymen (they’ve actually not had many jobs) but Alladyce and Warnock are ‘something different’? Cooper has had 3 seasons in the championship and finished Top 6 every time, including promotion with a club that was bottom when he took over. He has a 48% win record in the division over 3 years
