  1. Bit of an embellishment there, I’ll be honest!
  2. I was hoping we had gone past the ‘negative’ insult, but here we are. I can’t believe what I’m reading. Surely, no matter how much more of an idea anyone has, not having stock of something that people want to buy doesn’t make good business sense? That would lose us money, when people wants goods that we are unable to supply?!
  3. As long as you have a Covid pass you can still be single jabbed and attend. You can even have had no jabs. Just need proof of a negative test.
  4. You have to get a pass for each game. Masks optional.
  5. Right, it probably should be enough, but it isn’t, so I’ve told you what will be enough. Glad we are in agreement.
  6. Okay fine, don’t agree, but I was only trying to save you time in the queue….
  7. I’ve been to loads of gigs where this is a thing and I’m telling you now, you need to download the ‘NHS’ app and download a pass which is valid for 48 hours, I think. You’ll need a new one per event or game, believe me. If you don’t want to agree then that’s fine, but you won’t be getting into Ewood without it.
  8. The way Newcastle fans go on, it’s like no other club has had bad owners apart from them. The favourable treatment they get in the media is cringeworthy. Would be absolutely hilarious if they went down.
  9. Hi Everyone, a lot of baiting and a lot of goading going on lately and it needs to cease. Whether people have been having too many mulled wines, mince pies or advent calendar chocolates too soon, doesn’t matter, just simmer down a bit, please? It’s possible to disagree with each other without being rude. 👍.
  10. The police seemed to make every effort to stop fans clashing, then PNE fans just walked right in the middle of loads of Rovers fans at the end anyway 🤷‍♂️.
  11. Absolutely awful game of football and it was inevitable that a set piece goal would decide it. Thanks goodness it was a set piece of ours! Very happy leaving the ground after that! COYB!
  12. Yeah, it’s grim out there! Thought I’d be sound and help my folks walk the dog this morning, not the best idea in retrospect! About to get the train just after 1, even the walk there will be awful!
  13. Another north west team that’s obsessed with us for some reason. Very strange bunch.
  14. He’s also playing three defensive midfielders. Negativity is off the scale.
  15. Anyhow, what a good result that was! Immensely proud of these lads. Credit to them and the manager for today’s performance. Tonight’s alcohol will certainly taste that bit sweeter with that result! Have a good one, ladies and gentlemen.
  16. Hi lads, can we simmer down with the bickering about John Buckley please? Had to hide a few posts where insults are getting thrown about, we like to see a better standard of discussion and debate on here and we usually do reach said standard, to be fair. We won the game and we are in the play offs for the first time in a long while, so I’d recommend enjoying that instead!
  17. Let’s be honest, there’s no way a manager would be allowed to keep his job if he was relegated from the PL then eventually to L1, so there would be no need for any contingency on this basis!
  18. Not a bad cross at all from Mr Buckley! I did wonder who was getting on the end of it, but fair play to Pickering, right place, right time. Not seen a looping header in a long while!
  19. James, most definitely.
  20. Right, but you’ll happily use your own opinion (which in itself is conjecture), whilst demanding other people supply evidence, which you then dismiss as conjecture. Okay then.
  21. Are you really asking for evidence, dismissing it when given, then offering none of your own?
  22. I feel a bit sorry for Solskjaer in some ways, as he’s been so painfully out of his depth this season. But then, continuing to select Fred and McTominay and not use Van De Beek at all was baffling. Then Van De Beek scored yesterday, four minutes after coming on. The number of red cards suggests a discipline problem, particularly Maguire yesterday (the fact it was two bookings in under ten minutes, I’ve not seen it yet). It’s a big mess that needs to be sorted out in reality and I’ve no idea what manager they could or should go for now!
  23. In the real world, there shouldn’t be any excuses for Mowbray, but we all know, it won’t be his fault….
  24. No shots that half, an attacker gets injured, so we bring on a centre half. Looks like we are protecting the 0-1 defeat.
  25. His credibility is damaged, but not completely smashed to pieces. I think people are using a false equivalency to make a point in some cases.
