  1. Maybe, but I’d rather play against the one less likely to score a goal, which is Sam Gallagher.
  2. That reason is that he’s better at football, would be my guess….
  3. You slag off McCarthy for his style, but Ainsworth’s is no better and hasn’t got the track record of McCarthy……
  4. If McCarthy regularly punching above his weight is boring, then I’d take boring every single day of the week tbh.
  5. Venky’s aren’t the only ones to blame, but they own the club, so ultimately, the Buck stops with them….
  6. Managed to catch Carl Cox, Skream, Artwork, Honey Dijon, Adam Bayer and Dave yesterday. Dave closed the day and brought Stormzy out for a tune they made about three months ago to finish. Incredible stuff.
  7. New Order were absolutely unbelievable last night. That’s one ticked off! Parklife today and I’ll be watching Carl Cox from 12-3, amongst others, then Dave to finish. Lovely.
  8. As mentioned in the other thread, these are on the agenda. Also, I’ve been on the wrong end of these myself, so I’ll add my two pence worth!!
  9. I’m a great defender of Sterling, but last night he regressed and went back to trying to do too much in good positions. Mount hasn’t had a good start to the season, but he ended the last one on fire for Chelsea. I’d rather see Grealish where Mount is and an actual wide player out wide. I’d also have Foden in above anyone else (when fit, of course!)
  10. Well, that had been coming.
  11. New Order and Dave. Going to see both those chaps this weekend at Heaton Park. Lovely.
  12. Well, that turned out to be a waste of time, eh? Kinda like Nixon tbh….
  13. A few inconsistencies with what Nixon and everyone else is saying though. Venky’s are mad at him for not signing a striker, but then they won’t back him because they don’t trust him and he might leave at the end of the season anyway?
  14. There is room for everyone’s views on football here, no matter what people say. If people choose not to post, because they felt ‘hounded out’ or whatever, then tbh, whilst it is a real shame that people feel that way, ultimately, that’s on them. ‘You can’t please all the people all of the time’ as a famous Jamaican singer once said. To me, if you believe in the strength of your beliefs, then what does it matter if lots of strangers disagree on a forum?
  15. I think some people are over thinking Sterling and his shirt removal. I think he was trying to show it to the world, rather than specifically Hungarian fans, as the person who had died was obviously very dear to him. It’s a unique take on something that players have been doing for years when celebrating goals….
  16. Three straight through the keeper’s hands. Christ.
  17. It’s only someone else’s opinion lad, don’t get your nose bent too much out of shape about it….
  18. A goal and an assist for everyone’s favourite Sterling….
  19. I’ll bet in many ways, it’s six of one and half a dozen of the other. But, I do have sympathy for Chapman in seeing Gallagher on the right wing a lot of the time, while we have actual wingers (including Chapman) kicking their heels on the bench….
  20. To be fair, Ben Frost has a point about sharing screen grabs of people on Facebook etc. We don’t like it when someone else that used to post on here would share posts from here on Twitter, so we can’t have it both ways. Quite a funny comment about hostility though, when every post he seems to make is hostile…..
  21. Hi, we’ve already had this, but can we stop going on about QEGS please? Thanks.
  22. Just a final reminder- can we resist temptation not to bait each other and try and get reactions out of people? I know we are all annoyed, but there’s no excuse for being a dick. Do that and you’ll have a strong view of the sin bin.
  23. ‘Judge us at the end of the window’.
