Things I do want for Christmas: Us to be accountable for allowing strikers free headers in the six yard box (ideally to stop it happening) and for us to be able to use our quality to make our possession count. The warnings were there with our last few performances, but getting away with it, which was incredibly satisfying, granted. We need to start improving badly. I’d be keen to see Dolan starting again. Must be ridiculously frustrating for him to know he can do more than Gallagher and observing this from the bench. Not good at all.

I’m yet to be convinced that Dack and Travis is going to see us surge up the table like many people seem to think it will tbh. I would obviously love for that to happen! Also, Armstrong stepped up in a really big way in Dack’s absence, but will they both bring the best out of each other if they play in their favoured positions?

Squad is better indeed, but with that means that we probably should be doing better than being exactly where we have been for the last two seasons too....

We’ve also lost far too many games already if we want to be going up, IMO.

As much as I’m as keen as everyone for Dack and Travis to come back, if we keep defending like that, will they make enough of a difference? I’m not convinced too much will change, as good as it will be to have them back in contention...

Think Rover Dom has nailed it overall, but it’s a necessary evil for me. Dreams of 1995 also made a great point re music. It’s given me the heads up so many times re gigs and new releases, it can be a really useful tool. It’s got its downsides, sure, but I couldn’t imagine life without it nowadays...
