We’ve had a cracking start really, but the only thing that I can see counting against us is our defence and a lack of depth/ quality there. (I’m talking left back mainly). We obviously have time to correct that, but towards the end of the campaign, it’s the depth of all the squads that will be the deciding factor for me. Injuries happen to everyone, I suppose it’s good in a way that we have the likes of Travis and Dack to come back!

Was away yesterday, so I’ve only just caught up with the highlights and the thread. Not getting giddy about promotion chances just yet, but I’m delighted with our last two results to be honest. Whatever it is we are doing, we need to keep doing it, as it’s working incredibly well at the moment! The only thing that would make it better would be seeing it in person. Was over the moon yesterday when I saw the result and I’m into that feeling!

Been on Declan McKenna’s and Everything Everything’s new albums today. Very good indeed. If unfamiliar, Declan McKenna is more typical indie stuff, Everything Everything are indie dance, sort of like Foals and Hot Chip to an extent.

I’m always hammering new music and checking stuff out. I’ve tried many new things with regards to that, but then again I always do. Still can’t abide Coldplay though. To each their own of course!

I’ve legit seen him play for about ten minutes at the end of one season in the final game. He looked decent tbh, but, I’ve no idea of his qualities, but now would be the time for him to make his mark if Travis is out, surely? Dack is our best player, we always rely on him. When he’s fit, get him in the team.

Dack is our best player and our biggest goal threat, so when he’s back, we need to play him.

I can’t comment on Brereton’s performances in pre season or the season so far, as I haven’t seen any of our games yet (for shame, I know). But, it seems like we are stuck with him so he needs to make it and we need him to. At what point we cut our losses is anyone’s guess. What I don’t agree with though is playing him over better players for the sake of it. Brereton isn’t bigger than Blackburn Rovers FC and if he has to be start at the expense of better players in his position, then that’s totally counter productive.
