I don’t think it’s a lack of consistency. We consistently blow it whenever we get close to the play off places.

It’s a bit bizarre to see people lamenting the style of other managers I.E McCarthy when they get results. I accept that everyone has different opinions, but I just can’t agree that we play ‘good football’. There’s a lot of huffing and puffing, but nothing that really gets you off your seat.

I’ve seen Four Tet live a couple of times now and he’s been immense. The first time was in Ibiza at Space, with DJ Yoda on the same Bill (always class). Not a very Ibiza line up at all, I know! (R.I.P Space). Been lucky to see Jamie XX right after him too which was a hell of a vibe! Was meant to see Bicep last April, then December, now it’s December this year (hopefully).... I’ll get onto DJ Sneak, heard his name a few times, but never checked him out!

Their new stuff is a lot more like stuff like Four Tet, Burial, Jamie XX and the like to me. Whereas their early stuff was much more ‘pumping’ and house and techno in style. It’s all good stuff though to be fair!

I’ve absolutely hammered that recent Bicep album. It’s tremendous.

I played against Mark Patterson once on the soccer dome and played against Brett Ormerod in the over 35s at Hyndburn Sports Centre recently. He only played one half. That was enough....

Been working today and caught the result just now. Standard that as soon as we get near the play offs, we bottle it. Very predictable indeed.

His wife just gave birth, so he won’t have travelled.

To be fair, I had a bit of job uncertainty, so I thought it better value to do that if I’m just streaming anyway tbh. Usually, I’d just have a season ticket and go to the odd away game....

I’ve just paid £10 per game rather than the season ticket.....

I’m not usually for 3-5-2 tbh, but I can definitely see some mileage in that. Gets the better players on the pitch and can bring Dolan on against tired defenders.
