Pretty much this. Not his fault he was picked, but he really wasn’t very good at all. I remember him in a game vs Chelsea at home where he legit ducked out of a challenge, which flew in the face of people saying he always gave his all for me. I think some took pity on him and attempted to rewrite history as he copped a lot of flak for the above, but he was a poor player playing above his level tbh.

The book The Damned United and subsequent film were just brilliant. Martin Sheen absolutely nails the likeness of Clough in that.

Shearer at the start here was absolutely incredible. You won’t see many better than that, incarnation of Shearer, ever. He was an absolute joy to watch, even if I was only a nipper at the time.

In happier news- I’ve managed to get an N64 emulator working on my laptop. (It’s a MacBook, so that’s quite an achievement!) I’m also able to use my PS4 pad, ideal! It also has emulators for mega drive and other consoles, so plenty of choice! I’ve got the new Resident Evil pre ordered (out early next month and I’m going to have to succumb to buying Call of Duty, though the reviews have been solid.

Where are we seeing this chaps? Can’t see anything on Google...

There is no vaccine for this yet, but there is a vaccine for the flu, so comparisons with that are a bit silly. Is people panic buying stupid? Of course it is, but nobody has told people en masse that stocks are low anywhere so, folk need to get a grip. It’s a simple as that really.
