I know it’s been mentioned a few times, but I honestly think he really crossed a line last night when he made the comment: ’we are the team we are, with respect to Blackburn Rovers, we haven’t been tearing it up in the premier league for a long time’. Having previously said: ‘This is Blackburn Rovers, premier league winners. You have to have an ambition, you have to want to push on. I want to get this club to the premier league as fast as I can’. I didn’t want to believe all the self preservation stuff, but he’s in the position where he’s blaming literally anyone and anything but himself. Cowardly.

I’d prefer him to be more respectful than his comments last night, but that’s just me...

I don’t think it’s a lack of consistency. We consistently blow it whenever we get close to the play off places.

It’s a bit bizarre to see people lamenting the style of other managers I.E McCarthy when they get results. I accept that everyone has different opinions, but I just can’t agree that we play ‘good football’. There’s a lot of huffing and puffing, but nothing that really gets you off your seat.

I’ve seen Four Tet live a couple of times now and he’s been immense. The first time was in Ibiza at Space, with DJ Yoda on the same Bill (always class). Not a very Ibiza line up at all, I know! (R.I.P Space). Been lucky to see Jamie XX right after him too which was a hell of a vibe! Was meant to see Bicep last April, then December, now it’s December this year (hopefully).... I’ll get onto DJ Sneak, heard his name a few times, but never checked him out!

Their new stuff is a lot more like stuff like Four Tet, Burial, Jamie XX and the like to me. Whereas their early stuff was much more ‘pumping’ and house and techno in style. It’s all good stuff though to be fair!

And from me. Saw a piece in the LT about him this morning. Sounded a top chap!
