Whilst he has obviously been great in the past, I’m not sure he will ever get back there tbh. It’s a hell of a risk. My dingle mates told me that he really didn’t communicate with the defence and that’s what they were used to with Heaton and that was his undoing. Obviously at City, Kompany et al won’t have needed anything like that amount of guidance, so you can see how it’s happened.

A few general points: Can people leave moderating to the moderators, please? If something is inappropriate, we will take the relevant action. Telling people what to think and when to think it takes threads off topic. A lot of twitter rumours will be absolute nonsense at this time of year. Re that, have a look at the amount of followers the accounts have, how many tweets they’ve posted and how long the account has been open. If the answer to those three is a low number or not very long, then the account will most likely be bogus. I’m finding it hard to believe that people were taken in by a tweet referring to Rangers as ‘Sevco’ to be honest. Some people are too harsh and others not harsh enough. Some are patient, some are impatient. Some over react, some under react. People are different, it is what it is. Discrediting people’s valid concerns by saying they are over reacting or a happy clapper is always going to irritate people.

Thanks for your concern for my well being, I’m fine by the way. I’m actually at a music festival this weekend, so I won’t be able to get online too often. Though if people could just be trusted not to be dicks to each other, I could have the weekend off. It is what it is though....

There are at least as many posters moaning about moaning as there are actual moans. It’s all very confusing. For real though, if people just scrolled past opinions they didn’t like without having to reply to them all in an attempt to change their mind, that would probably be helpful. Also, saying ‘I respect their right to an opinion’ or a variant of, before trashing said opinion, negates this statement. Remember, it’s only pixels on a screen from a stranger you’ve never met and perhaps never will meet. If it stresses you out so much, I’d recommend going outside for some fresh air.

I’ll bet they do! Look, it’s just forward planning. I love Danny Graham, but he’ll be 34 by the time the season starts (one year younger than me), but he will need to be replaced eventually...

I really do! I’m sure we will address it like, but we conceded loads of goals last season, not many conceded more than us, so it obviously needs to be fixed.

If you actually read the posts on here, like Raya, some rate him, some don’t. So some will be annoyed if he goes to PNE, some won’t. If you’re going to call people for being negative, at least be consistent....

Because if we don't have the money for players that we need to go into the team right now because we've spent a lot of money on a player that isn't yet ready for the first team, then that's a problem.

I think many are getting frustrated that we have signed loads of midfielders (which numerically, aren’t a priority), when we have areas of the team which are a much bigger priority, that need to be strengthened, but haven’t been yet. I can understand, I really can! But there’s obviously still time to rectify it like, I just hope the defenders really are coming....(and a goalkeeper and a striker).
