No match day surcharges. No £40+ match day tickets for any game. I agree with Tomphil’s pricing idea. I don’t think we can really complain about the price of season tickets, without devaluing the product, to be honest.

You’ll have to point me to an example, as I haven’t seen any personal criticism, just a lot of criticism of his ability, which is fair game, really. I’ve no idea tbh, I’d have to see the injury list...

But, our best XI doesn’t included Bennett, even now, with loads of injuries. He isn’t good enough to get in the team, so he shouldn’t be in it, it’s no more complicated than that, for me. People have just observed on that in the past. I think he’s a good squad player, but no more than that. He’s been a good servant, but there is no room for sentiment in football. The only way the criticism would be over the top would be, if they were slagging off his family, but I haven’t seen anything of the sort to be fair. I’m sure if there’s an example though @Bigdoggsteel, you’ll point me to it! The bare minimum of a footballer is to put in his maximum effort, so I’m glad he does that! With that being said, I’d still rather see him out wide, instead of Gallagher, as at least he has played there for most of his career.

I know that, but there were two posts containing praise, in fairness. I agree that is something that appears to be lacking from his game. Fire in his belly and all that!

2 posts in this thread, towards the top.. I think the overwhelming emotion with him is one of frustration. It’s not his fault he cost what he did. It’s not his fault the manager plays him out wide. But, for our sake, we need him to start delivering, as we can’t buy anyone else because we’ve waxed a lot of money on him...

To be fair, people have given him credit, but fans are concerned as we have spent a lot of our money on this guy and subsequently have concerns re FFP. Also, for one reason and another, he hasn’t delivered. When can he stand up on his own two feet and be judged as a full member of the squad?

I really respect your views, Parson and the fact that you are about as die hard as it gets. However, it feels like you are missing some points in the post above. 1) I’m not sure what relevance PNE have. 2) We are getting to grips with FFP because of the signings Mowbray has made. 3) The magic wand is appointing the right manager and making better signings.

Just seen the goal, yeah, it’s a clanger alright! One thing I will say though, Dean Henderson (our old mate from the league 1 season), dropped loads of clangers for Sheffield United last season, and had even done the same this. But, on the whole, he’s had plaudits for days for his form for Sheffield United overall....

Because we spent £12 Million on two strikers that get played out of position or don’t get in the team. This and giving out contracts to players that don’t contribute any more has meant that we can’t buy any new players. When we get near the play offs, typically, we bottle it. Haven’t you been paying attention?
