Let’s be honest here, however you feel about Mowbray, if he says ‘promotion is the aim next season’ (as he has) then he needs to meet that target. I also don’t think it’s unreasonable to presume that he believes he will get the budget he thinks he needs to achieve this, if he’s stating his aims so publically.
