  1. Even in 2020, I can’t see any justification for that many changes in a game. Leicester are mint, they have a very good squad with lots of depth and West Ham are rubbish though. Hence them being second in the league above us....
  2. We will get beat and some cretinous wasters from West Lancashire will sign up to this gaff and give us stick. AGAIN. For goodness’ sake lads, this is the one game we need to win for the rest of the season!
  3. 6 changes a match though?!
  4. He’ll just have to prove himself in the u23’s for 9 months here first....
  5. Lads and lasses- noticed this in a couple of threads, can we keep politics to the relevant threads and out of the football ones, so we can keep them on topic? Thanks.
  6. But it’s no good being able to cross, if you’re too slow to beat a man...
  7. Him and Grayson will be able to car share, which is good for the environment, I suppose.
  8. Current Craig Conway/last season’s Craig Conway, there’s absolutely no way. When he first signed, then possibly.
  9. Can I query why, re point two? He looked a spent force long before we got shut of him and he couldn’t run a bath!
  10. Re point 3- and who’s fault is that? No manager in this league could really complain at the backing Mowbray has received....
  11. I can’t say I agree, I think they’ve been very consistent tbh! Consider this- we have spent £12 Million on strikers that don’t score enough. We are then told there are no funds for a January transfer fund. Concerns are also expressed about FFP compliance. Our main source of goals is out for ages. He said the target for the season is 70 points, do you think we will reach that target? Honest question, if we think things aren’t right now, why wait for a change?
  12. To be fair, Brereton did once last season...
  13. You’ve ignored my point. We are talking about a manager for the football club, not someone to go for a pint with. He might well be a prick, but he’s got a track record of winning football matches and gaining promotion from this division.
  14. FFP considerations we have to make, because Mowbray spent £12 Million on two strikers that don’t score £12 Million worth of goals. One of whom, we apparently aren’t allowed to judge yet....
  15. To be fair, he is a good human....
  16. Difference is, their manager is miles better.
  17. Could not agree more re the pint thing. It’s almost like they don’t expect loads of people to buy stuff at half time.... The last two home games in JW upper, they have run out of pies before half time!
  18. Mowbray bi-polar- @OnePhilT I like that! I want him to do well, I really do. But then he frustrates the hell out of me with the decisions he makes ?.
  19. If we need to grow matchday revenue, then we need to think of things to entice the fans, rather than put up obstacles.... (match day surcharge, ticket price vs SWFC, price of pies/booze, I could go on).
  20. Lads/lasses- I know we will all be hyped for new year’s eve tonight, but can we simmer down and be a bit nicer to each other, please? Thanks.
  21. Clearly people posting on here, that asked the question....
  22. We always get this close to the play offs and blow it though, so it’s all relative.
  23. Just read that Huddersfield came from behind to beat us for the first time in 2 and a half years. Good old Rovers, helping teams get out of slumps. It’s the season of giving, I suppose....
  24. We need to replace Bradley Dack’s goals.
