  1. We need to replace Bradley Dack’s goals.
  2. But he wins football matches at this level. Craig Bellamy and Robbie Savage were the same, but they were great for us! It’s a manager we need, not a saint.
  3. I can’t see anything other than a defeat here, unfortunately. Obviously, I’d love the lads to prove me wrong, though!!
  4. I’ve got a bad feeling that this season’s January will mirror last season’s. Being close to the play offs, not strengthening, going on a horrific run, etc. Glad we’ve got our next home game against PNE though. Sure our lads have the fire in their bellies to finally beat them again..... Come on lads, prove me wrong, please!!
  5. Rhian Brewster looks like he’s on his way to Swansea on loan. Think we should have been all over that tbh.
  6. It’s not just that though, is it? In league one, we could get away with playing well for part of a game, due to the quality of the opposition. The problem in a league higher is that we can’t get away with it, for the same reason. You’d think the manager would notice this...
  7. I never said it was a top 6 squad? Spending £12 Million on two strikers, one of which we aren’t allowed to judge yet will be his undoing. Especially after saying defenders were coming and not signing nearly enough. Of course it counts, but the fact is, being however close to the play offs is irrelevant, as we won’t make them.
  8. The problem is, there needs to be criticism allowed of the manager, he’s not infallible. If you play players out of position as often as he does, then you put yourself up there to be shot at. The being close to the playoffs thing is irrelevant to me. Even if we are as close as that, we have a bad habit of fluffing it when we get that close. I obviously hope the players prove me wrong and end up there though!
  9. Seen a load on the Facebook page criticising folk for not being proper supporters..... Mowbray is very well shielded from above and from within. There really are some that cannot handle any criticism of him whatsoever.
  10. After last time where Coyle was ultimately appointed, sadly, I don’t think there’s any chance he’d come here... (Though obviously, I’d love it if that wasn’t the case!!)
  11. Unless anyone is being sarcastic when they said how many points we are off the play offs, I’d do yourselves a favour and forget about it, it won’t be happening.
  12. It’s been a while since this argument reared it’s head. No, it really doesn’t. From me personally, it just means I love Rovers more than I hate Venky’s.
  13. Is it? Just seems the same as normal. Still not sure why people still push this negative vs positive thing or even speak of agendas. It’s only words from people you’ll likely never meet....
  14. Whilst I fundamentally agree with what you’re saying, Travis certainly was more dynamic when he came into the team than he is now. I do agree his performances haven’t been as good of late, but you always get 100% from him. As it goes, if Travis hadn’t been following Mowbray’s instructions, I don’t think he would be in the team.
  15. Shall we file those prophecies among Rhodes to Bolton, us winning 4-1 at home every week and a licence to print money?
  16. Just frustrates as even with Armstrong as it is, he plays Holtby out of position with Chapman wasting away in a level that doesn’t benefit him or us.
  17. To be honest, I bet it’s hard to stay motivated when you do bits in the u23’s and Armstrong gets picked regardless.
  18. You can’t be bothered to prove him wrong, but he’s given two examples of players over 27, then blame a website. Odd.
  19. Of course I’m taking the piss pal, simmer down.
  20. You could always do the unthinkable and have a day off from playing devil’s advocate....
  21. Actual reports about what was disclosed would only come in the form of us finding out Dack was sold....
  22. Why would you do that?!
  23. Joe Garner (Wigan striker) is from the Ribble Valley. J*B is from the Ribble Valley. My guess is that they both know each other?
  24. Yet he played for Villa last week in a league higher than we currently are...
