  1. It took him fair too long to pick the right team, but he’s done that recently. Evans and Smallwood shouldn’t be starting together (or individually) ever again now, ideally at all. Need a new central midfielder to partner Travis. If we can get Reed, great, but I won’t hold my breath.
  2. PNE similar budget to us? Think your calculator is broken mate ?
  3. Careful lads, you'll get labelled as 'The BRFCS hate core' despite having a legitimate concern about something that should be on sale already.
  4. Barely any brain cells between those in the comments section of the LT site.
  5. Sheffield United play Ipswich right before we play Norwich on Saturday night, whereas Leeds don’t play until Sunday midday. They’ve basically got to hope Sheffield United slip up against a team that’s already been relegated, at home.... There’s also the small matter of reversing a goal difference that is inferior by 10.
  6. Rodwell very good today. Buckley looked nervous, but I think there’s a player in there. Butterworth looked very dangerous indeed and created one very good chance that Brereton couldn’t reach. Delighted Brereton finally broke his duck and also that we added to Bolton’s misery. By the way, I couldn’t believe their fans calling for Parkinson’s head. Keeping them up last season was a minor miracle. Hopefully we can carry this momentum on for the last two games and delay Norwich’s stuttering promotion hopes!
  7. Give over lad, Rodwell was quality today!
  8. +1 For real though, really happy with that line up...
  9. I think that’s the first time message board gold hasn’t originated on the message board...
  10. I think a lot of the time, people read what they want to read, or read too quickly without digesting what has been written and react accordingly, which can be frustrating! This happens with a number of posters, not one in particular, in fairness.
  11. After 3 straight wins, against an already relegated team, I can honestly see them springing a surprise and doing us over...
  12. Selling your best players usually doesn’t end well...
  13. Ref had an absolute nightmare in the Sheff Weds and Norwich game. Booked the Wednesday ‘keeper for handling it outside his area, then allowed a Wednesday goal where Fletcher handled it in...
  14. I’ll be honest, I want us to play our strongest possible team, smash them to smithereens and rub their noses in their now confirmed relegation. It’s just a shame we weren’t the ones to make it official.
  15. Think you’re exaggerating lad.... Fact is, what’s stopping him giving him more than 10 minutes here or there as we can’t go down or up now? What have we got to lose? If they have a nightmare, then at worst it’s a failed experiment?
  16. They decisions made via VAR were correct though? So what's the problem?
  17. Spurs 4-2 down now and going out as it stands...
  18. My sarcasm detector is currently going berserk, but if Bazza’s post is legitimate, then ?. (That’s an emoji of a fishing rod reeling someone in, for those without visibility).
  19. My main concern was in January, we were in a great position to kick on, yet Mowbray said ‘we had enough in the squad’. When we let defenders out on loan and relied on defenders with chequered injury records. So many said that was a bad idea. Nobody was saying we should be going up, or we’re entitled to, or anything like that. Only that, we could have done better. Not to mention strange team selections, playing players out of position to accommodate weaker players and some horrendous defending, shipping late goals and a truly wretched away record. McLaren got sacked for having a similar record to Mowbray, so let’s not pretend our fans are unique, mental, or unreasonable, because we aren’t.
  20. Just read an article about Ken Anderson online, saying ‘interested parties simply didn’t have the funds’. Coming from a man with experience!
  21. There's no opinion about it, Reed is (or was) quite clearly the most talented central midfielder at the club. It's just a shame that our manager decided not to play him there for most of the season, instead mostly playing inferior players there....
