Some may find this view controversial and just to reiterate, finishing the season behind closed doors should be a last resort for me. But, if the season wasn’t scrapped...... In light of the exceptional circumstances, if the aim was to finish the season behind closed doors and the remaining games were streamed for free, personally, I wouldn’t want any money back from my season ticket which was paid up. It seems likely that clubs including ours will be struggling after all this, so if I can help in any way to keep us going, then I’d be happy to do that. Call it in lieu of the promotions I’ve seen, the league cup win and obviously the title win in 1995..... Yes, obviously, I’d rather be sat at Ewood, surrounded by fellow blues, but if it isn’t possible, then it seems like a fair enough compromise to me.

Seems pretty obvious to me why people would want to cancel their Sky Sports subscription, when there’s no sport on, to be fair! People might find that they don’t miss it and let’s not forget that people will struggle financially and Sky TV is a luxury that would be the first to go in many households if they are counting the pennies more closely. I wouldn’t want to watch football without crowds either tbh. It’s a real shame that they are prioritising football without crowds when fans are the life blood of the game.
