  1. 3 minutes after we equalised. Not quite as impressive as Leeds away, but impressive nonetheless. Impressive just how many ways we have of losing from good positions.
  2. It looked like he picked the wrong team tonight and so it proved. Simplicity is a beautiful thing, Tony....
  3. To be fair, you don’t have to be a defender to know that’s a bad a idea...
  4. Why is our best player on the bench? Why are Evans and Smallwood playing together in the same team? Why can’t we score against a team in the bottom three? Fundamentally Tony, just why?
  5. Conway is starting and Dack isn’t. It’a going as well as can be hoped.
  6. Well, that’s certainly not the team I would have picked, for a number of reasons.... Come on Tony and team, prove me wrong!
  7. 1st half, United were decent to be fair. They went to pieces when Lingard and Martial got injured. 2nd half, admittedly, it was men against boys.....
  8. Losing 3-1 to a team in the bottom three after two straight defeats would quite rightly lead to an outpouring of frustration and anger, to be fair. If anyone wants a reasonable reaction, they probably shouldn't come on here right after a defeat. People usually think more clearly once they've slept on it....
  9. If Reading win, they get out of the bottom three, so that's one hell of an incentive to beat us!
  10. You've got a right bee in your bonnet with Paul Lambert, haven't you? Christ! I thought it was just because it was something else to talk to Chaddy about......
  11. I've got a bad feeling about this one with where they are in the league and two defeats on the spin for us. But knowing us, we will probably spring a surprise and win there! Let's hope we do...
  12. Much more accurately summed up. Also, Ipswich really are bad and won't find it easy next season.
  13. Serves people right for buying Foster's.....
  14. Ipswich will have to have an overhaul if they go down anyway, that usually happens. Hardly surprising they were beaten yesterday, even with it being their local rivals, Norwich are top of the league and Ipswich are rock bottom. I agree with JH Rover re Lambert, if he doesn't stay there, he will struggle to get another job ever again really. He's now got a reputation as a bit of a quitter, so he needs to rebuild said reputation by staying somewhere a while and doing the business. Whether he sticks around to make that happen or not remains to be seen. Either way, Ipswich are doomed and have been for quite some time. It all comes back to the fact that the Ipswich fans should have been careful what they wished for when they hounded out Mick McCarthy, who ironically would have been one of the only managers that could have rescued them from the mess Hurst left them in.
  15. He can’t have a blinder every game, he’s set himself some pretty high standards with his previous displays. He gave the ball away a lot and seemed really nervous. Obviously, he wasn’t alone, it just stood out more with him as he’s usually a lot better than that.
  16. When I saw the starting lineup ahead of the game, I was concerned to say the least. Travis had his worst game for us so far and Mowbray made the right call in hooking him before he was sent off. Smallwood and Bennett were alright, I don’t think anyone emerges from the game with any credit really. Though the criticism of Graham continues to be really bizarre. It didn’t seem like either team would score if we played all week, then they notched from a corner. A bad day at the office that needs to be rectified next week at home to ‘Boro.
  17. I’ll re phrase. Assuming it was a minor injury, I suspect people wouldn’t have been that bothered.
  18. I doubt many would have been that bothered. We were promoted and it’s not like they were in contention for the World Cup squad....
  19. I’d rather tread on a hand grenade than deal with that lot being PL champions! They were bad enough as winners of the Championship!!
  20. Anyone with a brain would want winning football over anything else. If Pulis gets them promoted, all will be forgotten. Though one thing I will grant you, is playing Hugill over Assombalonga is absolute madness. Hugill is totally garbage and never scores.
  21. If Rovers had to lose a meaningless game at end of the season when there was nowt riding on it for that lot to get relegated.... Play the kids, Tony!
  22. Venky’s were badly advised... BUT everything happened under their watch, therefore the buck stops with them...
  23. They really are. An article in the Burnley Express posted on Facebook and the comments section was literally all ‘no’. Brilliant.
