It’s not really an over reaction though, is it? Certainly not for most. Just seems bizarre that people are more interested at having a go at other fans than dissecting the reasons for a defeat together. Those that do just that, are accused of being ‘knee jerk’. Fans that go the other way and call other fans ‘happy clappers’ or ‘Venky sympathisers’ aren’t sound either and they are called out and dealt with as well. Just some don’t seem to see that. Predictions for this evening on here: A few more coming on and saying: ‘I can’t believe the knee jerk reaction’ (We got beat 5-2 at a team way below us in the league, what do you expect, bunting and party poppers??) Chaddy saying ‘blimey’ at least three times. The laughing emoji being abused continually at viewpoints that are completely fair enough. People mistaking annoyance at losing 5-2 for wanting the manager sacked. (Before anyone starts, I know there have been some posts calling for TM’s head, but they are a small minority). If you want reason and rationality after a team loses 5-2, I wouldn’t suggest going on that team’s forum less than an hour after the final whistle. People are going to be annoyed and rightly so!

As much as it’s not his fault he continues to be picked there, we all know that Bennett is a weak point at full back as he’s out of position there, so did Brentford, evidently. Just a shame that the man in the hot seat doesn’t!

As much as I like Bennett, I’m concerned about how it sounds like he has played so far. Even more concerned that Nyambe isn’t on the bench for us to change it up...

Joe (Biz) stop moving the goalposts! Let’s simplify this matter before you inevitably over complicate things again. Brereton cost £7 Million and for that amount of money, ideally, he needed to be able to fit straight into the team and make a difference. There are obviously loads of reasons he hasn’t and whether he does eventually come good or doesn’t, but it’s got to be a concern that we are spending almost our record transfer free (eventually) on a guy that hasn’t made that much different yet. Because he’s only 19, I’m prepared to give him much more time, but I can understand completely why other supporters are concerned about his lack of impact SO FAR! (This post will probably really wind you up, so I’m bringing you some tobacco back from holiday to offset your annoyance! ?).
